We can't execute with the personel we have. Aaroo brooks a 5'10 shooting guard and ron artest a low IQ defensive players.

We have no floor general on Yao's level to execute down the stretch.

we just need to really play for the seed and get a favorable matchup. we seem to have regressed a lot the past week for some reason. i'm at a lost for words.

WE HAVE ZERO GUARDS. WE don't have a point guard, Ron playing the 2 is a damn joke.... Resign Yao and start over, JMO

Why don't you guys stop finding excuses for Yao? The teammates spend a lot of time waiting for him, but most of the time he's UNABLE to get the position!

That is true Coach A's game plan like in the beginning of this season. It is the failed plan for the rocket players. Coach A doesn't have other offensive plan. Let our big center stay around the middle of 3 point line is a waste. continuously playing our big center for 20 min is a stupid test. Coach A don't know how to use big center. This guy only know how to use star player.

i bet he has a higher 3 pt percentage than wafer. And atleast artest is somewhat familiar with the assist.

some same ol' shiet. i am tired of that. we never change. so frustrating.

this makes sunday's game a must-win, otherwise we will likely lose the home court.

Because we will never have a center as good as him..... at least until I'm 50, and I'm 21 right now. Big men are so hard to come by. We were lucky in the lottery.

Agreed. We're still too inconsistent and have mental collapses at the worst times. There's no calming influence or go-to guy at the end of games like this. That's what Kobe gives the Lakers.

Sometimes you make great posts which lead me to believe that this is sarcasm.

If I'm the rockets or Von, i would send him to some legit nba camps this summer... let him develop... He is the BEST/ONLY person on the Houston Rockets who can drive the basket.

bench wasnt good tonite, and our point guards weren't any good either. kinda missed landry out there.. :( but looks like we're real unlikely to face utah in the 1st round, wich is GREAT! but still would like home court against a team like portland or new orleans.

I don't understand why Coach used Yao in the following:

    (1) Why did Yao stay at the high post most of the time in this game?

    (2) Why did he let Yao play more than 1.5 quarters without a break? Even Kobe was given a break after a quarter of play!
