this is un-freaking-real. Playing Yao non-stop then take him out with 3 minutes left. Playing brooks when he couldn't score, couldn't pass, couldn't defend. Not doubleing kobe down the strech... unless rox is tanking to avoind playing the jazz, RA must be brain-dead!!!

We are difintely not the smartest team with the ball and the chance to take a lead. Barry, Von, Ron, and Scola scare me to death whenever the do anything besides shoot. Their passing is flat our horrible.

I hope Yao goes beserks in the post-game conference. Ron was brainless as usual. Stop dribbling aimlessly and chucking! Instead, start passing and playing teamball. This game was pathetic.

Adelman needs to control his personnel. He can't have Artest and Brooks running around the court like headless chicken.

Start Wafer and bring Artest off the bench when Yao is not on the court. Artest never passes to Yao after the first quarter. He looks to get his, and only passes as a last possible option.

    Again, this game was pathetic.

The Rockets will go 5-1 to end the season. They are about to go on a 5 game winning streak only to lose to Dallas the last game of the season....Book it ;)

If I, a casual fan, can point of Rockets' problem on March 11th's game, and have the exact situation happen against the Lakers, then the Rockets really have a problem.

The Lakers are the favorites to win it all, so it's not like it's a crisis that we lost. They never looked like they were really challenged, though. I am worried that the inexperience of our backcourt is going to kill us on the road. I think Adelman got too clever for his own good by taking Yao out of the low post before the Lakers proved they could stop him. It was really perplexing.

Positives: held the Lakers to under 40% shooting.

Negatives: 1) coaching- the Rockets went away from Yao, yet played him for huge stretches. 2) Point guard play- Aaron Brooks and Lowry were M.I.A. 3) Brent Barry. These are the kind of games where players start to think about retirement. He killed the momentum two games in a row. 4) Ron Artest- his crazy meter should be on Defcon 2 about now.

its different to say we're good and then saying we're a good team.

lakers are a good team with bad games
rockets are an average team with good games

    i knew we were overrated..

I think there are others that can create. They just aren't that smart...

Von Wafer has one of the lowest IQ in this team as well as Artest (on offense). Brooks doesn't know when to score or when to be passive.

We just got to play smart. We have talent; we need to execute.

It is truly horrendous to see the rockets being outplayed and outmanned in two games, right before the playoffs. this truly blows. might as well give up and get ready for next season. rest the team, go on vacation, take a nap and wait for t-mac.

    Our season is over

Artest is a joke. He plays only for himself and his vain numbers. IMO he merely worths a MLE. Take it or leave it.

Rick Adelman: no game plan. The players did not know what to do on the offensive end.

Yao Ming: slow reaction and was out of sync.

Ron Artest: enjoyed too much one-on-one...

The record certainly does not reflect the true status of the rockets. I can not say Rick is doing a good job.

A healthy TMac, or someone else at the calibar is absolutely needed.

It was disappointing that your rockets looked so helpless on the court when the opponent still had reservations.

I know its not going to happen and it is really not reasonable to fire a winning coach, but I never like Rick Adelman and he is the most painful to watch among Rudy T, JVG, and RA.

One more thing: Wafer is going to cost us in the playoffs -- he is not ready for prime time just yet.

Better teams brings it when they need to. Laker is the better team right now. You can't fault our players and you have to take good with the bad.
