Yao has butterhands! The guy can't seem to hold on to the ball. Sometimes he really plays like a girl!

But, even you have to admit that Yao didn't get the ball, in the second half, nearly enough. He is and always should be option 1a and 1b for the team, especially when teams are playing him straight up and he is shooting well.

When the offense bogs down as it did in the 4th quarter, they have to make a concerted effort to get the ball to yao on the block.

Not at all, if the other team takes him away by doubling early, or zoning up by fronting him, then I want the team to take advantage of the opportunities that overplaying defense creates.

You don't FORCE it into Yao...he is not good enough to beat a double team consistently...he is too slow and has hands of stone.

he wasn't fronted or doubled with any ferocity in the lakers game. the team just went away from him and never got around to establishing yao in the paint again. i'm not talking about forcing it into yao, i'm talking about getting him the ball when mbenga/gasol is on his back.

what happened to getting yao the ball on the move deep in the paint? what happened to reposting yao? there were few attempts to do anything of the sort in the last 15-18 mins of the game.

We have guard's man that don't know how to read defenses. Your asking players to get Yao the basketball who simply don't know how to get him the basketball. Brooks is a 5'10 shooting guard Ron artest is the other guard who has nothing but shot on his mind. Even if you tell these dudes to make a concentrated effort to get Yao the ball they can't even mentally or physically execute this game plan especially when the game get's Tough.

They didn't need to front Yao they just loaded up their defense on the block and used their length to disrupt our entry passing into Yao. The zone us up with Pau,lamar ,ariza and sometimes kobe. This zone provided them length, speed and quickness.

Our problem is we don't have a point guard or other guy's who can exploit the weak side. They zoned us up and we didn't move the basketball and therefore the whole game was played on one side with Brooks on ron forcing everything into no man's land.

Like Yao said 2 games in a row now, we come out of timeouts and we don't even run the play that was designed from the timeout. This TEAM has serious issues with executing play's because you have 2 guards who should be coming off the bench. You can't have 2 black holes in the starting lineup with Yao
