Well there you have it and Yao will continue to struggle playing with scrubs at that postion.

It takes our team 10 -15 seconds just to even get him the basketball. You can't TELEGRAPH the whole game offensively like this and think you are going to execute properly down the stretch.

Someone said it earlier. At Some point, Yao has to play like the superstar he is. Superstars dont make excuses.

dude tmac passes to him very well and we still struggle to get him the ball in the past few years. yes the guards can do better, but it's not all their fault. yao has to take part in that blame. there's a reason agressive defenses can easily neutralize yao.

Learn what from Lebron? Kobe doesn't need to learn (bleep) from nobody.

3 rings, 5 finals appearances. enough said.

forgot turnover are a example of the coach mind if they close themself vs a group of players trying to get to the base line that coach fault make another play that we don't have to use the base line (in that was like four turnovers in the game) in the decision making (blame the coach too cuz they should give you orders on runing the offense for example if i was the coach i would tell brooks and wafer especially wafer that are shooting great in the las three games shoot the ball more and take the three pointer . i would not put brooks to shoot the floter that he throw (that rafer shot )

and set a play for brooks and wafer to throw the jump shot

that why when van gundy was change for adelman the rockets want him as a assistan coach cuz they want the best of both worlds

He played like a super star. He was rebounding the bsketball, blocking shots,Scoring from outside and inside.

Yao's issue is he is playing with guy's who play with their heads cut off. Yao needs a Super star point guard

Kareem was very similar to Yao to where he needed someone like magic and the Big O to get him the basketball. These type players had to be able to create for themselves to keep all the attention away from kareem. These type of players also had to be able to make fundamental post entry passes.

Yaso has guys who don't have the IQ or physical capabilities to get him the ball.

How are you going to call plays for two gaurds that are in our backcourt who can't even run a play that is design from a timeout.Yao even said they come out of a timeout and they don't even run the play that was designed.

You have to really understand how stupid our backcourt is. We have guys that don't have the IQ to even run a pro set post play and even if they do run the play they can't even physically make the right pass for you to even execute the play.

Dawg we can't keep blaming it on the coaches every year or every tuff loss. We have a personel problem. We just don't have the talent that the lakers have,We are a TEAM with many flaws and it shows when we play elite TEAMS.

turnovers killed us. that and kobe. sometimes, no matter if artest or battier is on kobe, he will score. kobe's offense is better than alot of defenses no matter what you throw at him. In my opinion, t-mac(as much as everyone on the board hates him) was the equalizer here. You can sit and criticize our young point guards all you want, both AB and KL, but neither have enough experience to lead this team. I'm just hoping they both develop in the off-season.

what indication do you see that he will get there? i hope he can "get there" too, but i have seen nothing.

is it just me or this morey's "dicey" pg move looks like it's gonna fail?

i agree with what you said (as usual), but i feel it isn't all on the players.

coming out a rare and long break and having 2 consecutive bad games with the same problems - the coaching staff has gotta take some responsibilities here.

I don't see Brooks and Artest waiting for Yao to get position. Heck, I don't even see Brooks and Artest looking for Yao 9 out of 10 times. There was a play in the third where Yao had his man sealed, but Artest didn't budge. Then Yao ended up setting a hi-post pick for Artest. As much as you hate Yao, using him primarily for picks 25ft from the basket is inexcusably poor coaching.

I guess no one can admit La is just better. They have beat the rox by a avg of 13 pts this yr before tonight. If a team keeps kicking your ass by 13ppg, how do u make that up?

Brooks and Artest don't even know how to execute out of the timeout plays. Yao needs an elite guard to play with he can't playing with money ball players. Ron aaaron don't have realize that Yao has his man sealed that's how DUMB these two are with their B-ball IQ.

that "aggressive defense" wasn't there tonight. gasol couldn't do nothing to yao in the first half, and in the second half when they have that menga (whatever his name is) guy guarding yao, yao made him foul 2 in a row on one single possession.

and yet yao only had the ball in the low post like what, 5 times in down low?

(btw, real "aggressive defense" can take any player out of the game; and that includes lebron.)
