I don't understand why Adelman gave Budinger more than 7 minutes?

Even though they were missing Pau and the refs gave us a lot more calls than usual, we still couldn't pull it out. They really need to win tomorrow. :(

Agreed. I've heard people talking about not wanting Dalembert, but aside from his contract he would be a really nice addition to this team, especially if his buddy Iggy tagged along.

Too much loyalty to Ariza. Other than his 2 dunks, he was useless. Budinger shouldn't have been out there at all.

Budinger's coming off an injury. I can understand that.

What I can't understand is Lowry not being in there down the stretch.

#1 He is coming back from an injury.
#2 He does not match up well with the lakers back court.

We definitely got stagnant there at the end. Lowry would have at least injected some life and got the ball moving.

I wish Adelman would have tried a different defensive approach on Bynum. Like, try to front him, that always gave Yao problems. Try something different if what you're doing is broken.

Lowry wasn't even in the game late when the Lakers had two small guards out there.

I'm a big believer in Adelman but I don't get this decision. It's been two games in a row now.

Shane couldn't throw it in the ocean but he played big minutes slowing down Kobe. C Bud should have seen the floor a little more with Shane having a bad night shooting the ball. Adelman sticks with his starters to much on a team that starts Chuck, Ariza, and Shane = no offense at all.

    And crash the boards.

    And draw some fouls.

    And make hustle plays.

And made better decisions with the ball in his hands.

I don't get it. Pretty frustrating.

+7.5 or 8.5-9.0(depending on where you bet) Rockets, and they lose by 9.

Low ass over/under of 201 and what happens? Both of these teams average over 100ppg.

When you couldn't grab any rebounds and make your free throw clang and clang, you have already lost the game, especiallly when you face Fakers....

He is too diplomatic. Just go with who can get you a win. Stop going with the status quo!

This game is a perfect example showing the importance of Yao to compete with elite team like lakers.

I'll tell you this much, I have made my decision about who I would prefer losing among our core players. Lowry and Landry are on the "keep at all reasonable costs" list while (in this order) Ariza, Battier, Brooks, Scola are on the "if they have to go then they have to go" list.

Lowry is so much more of an impact player than Brooks it's not even funny. If Brooks isn't hitting his jumper he is somewhere between neutral and negative on the court for the Rockets. Meanwhile, Lowry is in attack mode like few other players in the league. Whether it be points, assists, rebounds or steals the guy is going to let you know he is on the court.

My hope is that Adelman and Morey have realized what Brooks is and are using this season as a bit of showcase to up his minutes and stats (while talking him up in the media) so that he is more attractive in a trade. I'm not saying I don't like the guy because I do but we have enough players on this team who are invisible every other game.

I guess, if Lowry played, we had to go small, most likely lowry, Brooks, Ariza, Battier, and Landry. Because the lakers have two 7 footers, the rockets had to put two bigs there. And, because of Kobe and Artest, Ariza and Battier must be on the court. Brooks is usually a lakers (or Fisher) killer, he must be there as well. Thus, Lowry wasn't on the court.
