If Yao hadn't gone out this game would be closer.

Game 2 was closer than the box score.

You can lose by 40 points or you can lose by 1 point. It's still only one game.

No, that fact doesn't make tonight's atrocity any easier to digest but we're still only down one game. Let's not lose sight of that fact.

Ron Artest's face belongs on a milk carton right now... he's shooting 23.5% (8-34) from the field and 7.7% (1-13) from downtown in the last 2 games.

I expect them to rebound in Game 6, but not a good sign that Andrew Bynum has found a role in the series.

    1. T-Mac and Yao combined for 60 of our points vs Dallas. We didnt even have either of them this time. Nobody even scored above 20 for us tonight.

    2. Vs Dallas Jon Barry had 2 while Brent Barry had 8 tonight vs LA

Lakers played like a team that wants to wrap it up in Houston.

I just don't think these Lakers are that good. I think they have on of the crappiest benches of the remaining teams. But, I'm of course saying this after the Rockets lose by 40. Lets see Lakers compete without Bryant, Gasol, and Bynum.

I'm sure Daryl Morey is appreciating some more looks at some of the players. Hi to you, Artest!

Only good thing from this game was Landry. Lakers could have held the ball for 24 seconds in the 4th quarter and still win by 10.

Bynum was still looking for Yao in game 4.

That bum Bynum should have found his role in the last game. Yao gives him fits and last I checked, Yao went down after game 3.

He didn't look scared he came out strong, but the Lakers were stronger.
