Brooks can do no right anymore. He has lost his way because of his play and no matter what he should be traded. His attitude has been like he could give a sh#$ anymore. He should play like last season instead of sulking over not getting his extension. He should know that the team would treat him right in the end.
Brooks played well in stretches. Like I've been saying, this team is close. Let's see what DM can do. It's not about this season any longer. We need a longterm solution.
martin needs to be taking a lot more shots...especially when hes hot..only 15 attempts...should have had at least 20 and maybe the game would have been over in regulation..
Martin needs his teammate to creat shot for him; If the ball is on his hand, or he just shot, or he turns a turnover
Lost in all the Brooks hating was the fact that Rick Adelman cost us the game today. He called a timeout when Kevin Martin was on his way to a fastbreak score. That two points would have meant that Brooks would have won the game for us today.
Then he really couldn't have done much for this team on OT then. We need a player who can at create a shot for others. Martin isn't this guy. So I'm not sure why the guy I replied to (whatever his name is) was clamoring for Martin to get the ball.
With great PG's they can create for Martin on any occasion or most. We have 2 very bad low percentage PG's. That is our problem. Rockets weakest link is at center but just as bad with PG's. We need a better distributor that can score. Brooks aint and Lowry aint.
This team doesn't execute in pressure situations. Aaron gets stuck with the ball in crappy positions on two separate occasions late in the game. Kevin plays well for most of the game, and is again nowhere to be seen when we need buckets the most; because the team isn't making any kind of effort to get him the ball, and he's not making any effort to get it, either. We've seen it plenty this season. Same story, different night. The only silver lining I see in this right now is that this may just be the tipping point for the coaching staff and management. After losing to the Jazz tomorrow night - Which I think is highly likely -the Rox will be seven games under .500, with too many other teams ahead of them playing well right now, and a schedule that really isn't going to get any easier (Utah tomorrow, then a Memphis team that's playing well, Denver twice, and Dallas. The only easy game we have coming up is against Minny.) In all honesty, I could see this team going 1-5 in their next six as easily as I could see them going 3-3. So, maybe after tonight's loss, coupled with tomorrow's potential loss and the tough immediate schedule, the management and the staff will be on the same page as far as the state of the team is concerned: The Rockets can't compete this year, and it's time to commit to the future of the franchise, instead of trying to salvage an already lost season.
I guarantee you Rick didn't allow the Lakers to shoot 48%, get 58 points in the paint, or grab , 54 rebounds.
Yep we need to save money if we can't land Melo. Get as low as possible for 2012. I cringe at the thought of wasting another season next year but we might not have a choice.
Scola had a great game but his last shot was just fu**'n stupid. He single handidly killed any prospects for a W with that absolutely sh**forbrains shot
He scores, he ties the game. What makes you think we'd have gotten the ball back without the Lakers scoring and then won the game?
Pau Gasol: 26 points and 16 rebounds Odom: 20 points and 20 rebounds Kobe: 32 points and 11 assits It will be hard for any team to win a game where all those 3 Lakers play that good. Here or there, we could have done something better to win it, but I think we still put up a good fight. -Martin shot well, but again... disappears late in the game.. not sure whose fault is that. -Scola has played just incredible this whole road trip and let's hope he delivers tomorrow Lowry played bad today... and Brooks actually has good numbers... it was good to see Brooks hitting some shots and making good passes for 8 assists. Not that much disappointed at Rockets losing because I was expecting a win... was happy that they fought hard... I am more disappointed at Spurs for not beating Portland for us .... we are 5 games out of the picture now.
Meanwhile, Blazers beat Sputs. Tomorrow should be the deciding game for Rockets' management. Lamarcus Aldridge is just playing out of his mind.
