I'm not gonna hate on Brooks, because you can't blame the loss on one person.

But he definitely looks extremely different than the brooks of last year. People still claim his ankle isn't fully healed, but I smell BS. I think something's wrong with him mentally that's affecting his game...

I won't blame Brooks and Lowry for Brooks not touching the ball in OT. I don't know if it was by design or what but Martin was just camping out in the corner doing nothing.

I noticed that as well. Thats one bright spot about this game and Martin's improved defense

When Adelman calls a timeout and drafts 2 successful plays, you know he wants to win the game.

honestly, were you expecting things to get better?

The Rockets are the most consistently mediocre team in basketball this year.

because he played badly. thats all. see, Brooks had 8 asts, but didnt everything else badly. The other players did most things well and had a few bad moments.

    Brooks was consistently bad.

He was forced into a few of those threes or had to take then and missed. Almost a 40 % 3 point shooter. Watch the game, don't just look at the box score.

Yep, Brooks has officially taken over for T-Mac as this year's Universal Scapegoat.

We should go for the win in regular time. Dwarf rocket team lose the not great laker. Brook want to increase his statistics by jackup three point air ball in the last second of OT. We need a star. Otherwise, we are not going to win close games.

So perhaps Martin is scared to touch the ball at the end of games? I seriously would take my chances with him shooting a three in the corner than Lowry hoisting up a desperation shot over tall defenders.

Maybe if they actually give Martin the ball and expose his inability to create a shot or even nail it. Then I can see where those shots taken by Lowry or Brooks woud be justified.

I'm sure there are more than a few who probably feel that if we can get a center plus the rest, then we might be able to win.
That's not likely to occur,we have too many role players. More two way players are needed.

Yeah, it's the fact he lost his starting job on a team that's mediocre.

It's called stealing a game in regulation. Ricks should have learned the last time it's not smart to go to OT against the Lakers in LA. Especially on a back to back. He is getting better though, but like AB he is worried about the future and wants to play it safe.

Why can't Morey just pay what he thinks is fair? With guys like Shane Battier wait until the off season to see what his market value is. Brooks and Adelman deserved an extension and it's been aching the Rockets all season. I'm pretty sure Morey could have signed Scola for less had he offered him $3-$4 million less. Not so sure about Lowry.
