    F the Lakers.
    F Pau Gasol.
    F the Lakers.
F Kobe (I know he didn't do squat, but who cares?)
    F the Lakers.

That is my in-depth analysis. Hope you enjoyed.

Lots to look forward to this season. Lots for the guys to work on as well. Defense was markedly improved from last year(at least for one game). Last year's squad gets blown out after the surge the Lakers had.

Gotta question the last play. I get the unexpected angle of the play(brooks at the rim instead of 3), but too risky with the rangy Odom down there.

We lost steam in the end and our defense needs to improve.

Shannon Brown's mini-run was the real deciding factor tonight.

I'm surprised Rick played Miller as much as he did. I think Hill could have helped on Gasol and Odom.

When Brooks received the ball there are so many things he could've done with the ball.
He could have went for the floater and have guys crash the board like crazy.
He should have done a step back jumper.
He would have gotten 2 freethrows if he pump faked Blake.

IMO, these turnovers are going to cut down by midseason. We really have to worry about these droughts and offensive rebounds, though. It seems like every season, it's the same exact story. We'll be all right.

**** YOU SHANNON BROWN. **** YOU STEVE BLAKE.

p.s. Why the hell did they call that tech on Kevin Martin early in the game, but they didn't call it on anyone else the rest of the game? I know damn well Lamar Odom was swinging his arms around after a bad call and making sour faces. It really came back to bite us in our arse.

    This...

Limit TO, Second Chance Buckets and Missing Point Blank Layups...we got ourselves a contender.

You forgot about the missed open layups and the inability to get a rebound.

Another thing, tough loss but there were things in this game that just aren't going to happen every night. Scola is not going to miss open shots like he did tonight, we're not going to turn the ball over 21 times, Yao will not foul out in 24 minutes. This team is going to be fine. If Lowry was healthy Brown does not go off on us, that's for sure (he also grabs more boards that removes from of the second chance points). Other than not getting the W, I am very pleased with the effort tonight. Hill needs to get some playing time though, I did not like that decision at all.

At this point, I'd trade Battier for a future 2nd round pick in 2015.

Missing layups and not running the offense in the 4th is how the game was lost. I liked a lot of what I saw tonight, though.

Brooks should have the IQ to pass the ball instead of shooting amongst trees. Scola was wide open for a jumper.
