Ideal for what? Watching the ball go over his head and into the basket! STOP FOOLING YOURSELVES! HE'S A FREAKIN TEAM MASCOT! HE SHOULD WEAR A SKI MASK ON THE COURT BECAUSE HE'S FLAT-OUT STEALING MONEY!

0 freakin REBS and ODOM LAUGHS EVERY TIME HE SEES HIM.

I just don't follow how the Rockets lose these leads?? Used to happen with JVG, but RA has the same problem. Tmac I always thought was a reason we lost leads, he's gone, still same issues. I guess it just comes down to us not having a superstar closer who can bail us out.

i blame the coaching for this 1-

AB needed 2 rest more, he was clearly gassed @ one point in the game, so his defense (which is already suspect) will slide, blake & brown go off

chuck is NOT who you want going up against odom and gasol, the lakers are known 4 thier rebounding, hill is known 4 his rebounding, almost a no-brainer, but did he even play?

the last shot, ugh :( but it never should have come to it- after the preseason games and now this, ther's a deffinant pattern of 4th qrtr meltdown, can we pleeeeeease have thst looked at coach?

this team IS talented tho, if we could get some more defensive rebounds and MAKE LAYUPS, we should be good.

    at least 2mrrw should b a win

I'm reminded of our first game last year, when people criticized Brooks even though it turned out that our offense turned to crap when he was off the floor (-11 in 5 minutes with Ish).

Good game but a heartbreaking way to open the season.

As many suspected, the back court is fine (except possibly over working Brooks when we have a another game tomorrow) and Scola is fine. But I think our front court needs more solid production defensively.

    Nevertheless a well played game.

Well if Lowry was playing tonight Brook would have not been so gassed, so I don't blame Rick for that.

    Turnovers turnovers turnovers...

This is a carbon copy team also ran. I dont need to watch the rest of the season to see the photo copy finish of the last 5 years to know whats gonna happen. Unless they make a move we all know the ending to this story. Good play by our guys. Valiant effort. 52 to 53 wins. First round exit to these same Lakers probably iof something doesnt change. I want it to change now before these same morons keep talking us into the same direction over and ove for 5 years straight. Battier wont cut it and we know it already. We need a star or another Superstar. We know that. This is already obvious after seeing every year for the last couple of years now.

Agreed. Without Bynum two seasons ago, they still made the nba finals.

Lee had 0 turnovers and 3 steals . . . I think shooting 21% in the second half could have been part of the problem.

    tough lose.

yet it's only the beginning of this season, no reason to panic. only one game, that's it. besides we showed potential we can play better.

Very frustrating game. It's the worst when you're leading the whole way and lose it at the end. Just missed too many layups tonight, also too many turnovers.

BTW we need to get better at defending the 3 point line, almost all of their makes were wide-as-a-fat-man open.

Why don't you put ISH out there..? I know he is rookie, but he is good playmaker.

Brooks 24 points 9 assists and only 2 turnovers is the reason we lost?

    OMG drop it.

Hayes has been a steady defensive force for us the past several seasons.

You are going to let one game dictate his entire career?

    Get over yourself troll.

    1. That was a tough loss
    2. Scola played great those last couple of minutes
    3. Martin and AB both disappeared, kind of disappointed me.
    4. Shannon Brown and Steve Black? Seriously?
    5. Kobe is not done. 27 points and 7 assists
    6. Battier with the binoculars...that was funny

Overall, I think the Rockets looked great. Against the defending champs, the Rockets hung in there for a final shot.

It's going to be a GREAT season...people are sleeping on the Rockets...they are going to be shocked when the Rockets grab #1 in the SouthWest

Also, I know it's easy to blame the refs but I think it was as fairly called as possible. Both Lakers and Rockets had about the same number of fouls and free throws
