Right now the series is going that way. We take Gm 1, Joey Crawford saves Gm 2

Yeah, it's really interesting how this seems exactly like the Blazers series... Except we are dealing with the Lakers now, I don't expect it to get any easier. We need to take the 2 at home, that's for sure.

Lakers play straight up, they lose. Lakers play dirty & they win. They won't continue losing guys to suspensions. Rockets win!

Lol, that is pretty true. I'd like to see fans in Houston going a little bit crazy, as I said, a few NASTY posters would be a nice addition.

It kinda pisses me off. Kobe can do everything, Ron can do nothing. As Clutch mentioned on 1560, If Ron had done that to Kobe, he would have been suspended at least for Game 3.

Kobe is a punk. Fisher's body check of Scola was bush league. Neither of them deserve a suspension. Crawford and/or the refs did not cost the Rockets this game. They even tried to keep Artest in the game, but I don't blame them for tossing him. Bottom line is, The Lakers muscled up and fought back. They got in the Rockets heads and the Rockets lost their composure. They'll get it back for game 3. This series is far from over. Conversly, it's just starting to get fun. I know the Rockets will be up for it. Are you?

I think you don't know what's happening in GAME 2.
It's not about physical/dirty. It's about unfair and double standard.
If the refs allowed a physical/dirty game, that's alright. An eye for an eye, simple. But game 2 is not like this.
Lakers were allowed to do everything but Rockets not. It's a game with 2 sets of rules.
If you think Rockets were soft, I bet you didn't watch the game actually.

even if yao got fronted, even if yao got doubled, i don't understand how, if he's an elite center, he can totally disappear two days after posting a career-changing heroic performance against the same team in the same arena.

i'm not making comparisons to hakeem - there can only be one (just like i'm not a fan of kobe vs. michael comparisons) - but if he wants even to be a pat ewing or a david robinson, he can't become totally invisible like this. he needs to duke it out and attempt more than zero shots during a 36-minute stretch between the 1st and 4th quarters.

carl landry brought the thunder like a bat out of hell. if you take out that nonsense basket interference call, and if he made just 2 of the 5 FTs he missed, then his 2nd quarter output alone is more than kobe's entire "explosive" first half of 20 points.

till kobe's buzzer-beater at the half, landry alone outscored the entire lakers' team in the 2nd quarter. if he hadn't gone just 6-11 from the line, he could've had a 23-point quarter. that is isiah thomas crazy, sleepy floyd crazy. the man was friggin' SICK.

(full disclosure: i own a carl landry road jersey and am looking to justify my $55 expense.)

This is a war now, LA must be wiped out now for playing dirty and classless. I mean Bryant taunting a class-act guy like Battier pissed me off, I'm so happy Artest got in Bryant's face. I loved Barkley and Kenny on TNT calling the Rockets tough and having several "pitbulls" on the team. Yes, Yao surrounded by a bunch of pitbulls, I like it. So Rockets, LA's coming into your house, so sic em!!!!!!

The irony? The Lakers and their fans thought we played our best game, and they played their worst game in game 1.

Yesterday we really played our worst game. Yao was invisible, Artest was thrown out, and Wafer was sent back to the locker room. Kobe had to go for 40 points.

This was one of the worst games of the year for us, and a great game for the Lakers, and we were in a dog fight before all hell broke loose.

I think rockets knew game 2 is fixed. When Yao, shane and artest go to the bench after 1st quarter, I saw them talking and laughing, didnt look at they are worried about the game very much. The only explaination is that insider knows no way league will allow rockets claim game 2, it also explaine Yao's effort later.

Man shut the hell up, I bet you were saying that last series. He is the best Center in the league, the team just needs to do a better job at getting him the ball. Besides Joe Crowford kept him out of this game with horrible calls
