McGrady scored 1 basket in 2 games.

    Yes, he's injured.

So are more than half the players in the league. Kobe is playing with a torn ligament in his finger.

I'm waiting to hear Adelman's take.

We need to start up the FIRE RA chants again. Last time we did that, we went on a 22 game winning-streak.

The Roxs is in reccession right now, it won't rebound untill after all star break. I so hope that it'll be a V shaped rebound and not an U or a L.

No, WE ran out of condoms after the first quarter, and decided to switch the roles.

The entire team looks lazy. No motion offense at all. Everybody just stands there. This team goes nowhere with this kind of lazy attitude.

Speed, size, athleticism, & shooting. Lakers can outscore any team in a hurry if you let them get into a groove. They'll run/shoot you out of the court.

Where's Rockets defence? If Rockets dont play defense, they are average.

Rockets are still very bad in transition & finishing.

I don't blame Adelman for McGrady being totally useless. This is the worst I've ever seen McGrady and Yao... Both of those guys are having the worst stretches of their careers at the same time. My biggest concern is if they will bounce back... at least one of them.

TMAC YAO era should be official over tonight. Morey needs to retool this team.

YAO brings a lot of revenue and international appeal to roxs so TMAC has to GO.

But Yao cannot be a go to guy anymore. This is just pathetic.

Ron is getting worn out playing defense on the best player very night and we expect him to score as well. It is just not fair on him.

SEASON IS OVER. THIS TEAM WILL LOOSE TO UTAH AGAIN, LAKERS LOOK UNTOUCHABLE

....wow - the Lakers went 95-50 to finish the game. Pretty much a thorough ass kicking through the last 3 quarters. For those who missed it, consider yourself fortunate to miss a combination of the Lakers getting incredibly hot and the Rockets looking incredibly confused offensively giving the Lakers lots of turnovers and getting out rebounded pretty bad in the process. I don't know what's wrong with the Rockets but none of them look like they want to be playing basketball right now. I just don't get any enthusiasm from this team right now.

I guess I would be worried if I believed this was an accurate reflection of how much better the Lakers were than the Rockets, but I just don't think Houston has really looked themselves yet this year. What is it with Houston teams and slow starts of the season?

No presence on the boards, no defense, poor motion on offense and bad shooting. Pretty simple.

True, my bad Landry deserves some props. We really need Deke back, not as much for his play, but more for his leadership.

What a terrible game to watch! T-Mac and Artest shot terribly yet again, and it was really ugly. Yao only half-showed up (Bynum/Gasol combo negated him real well, and 0-4 from the free throw line, really?!) Scolandry half showed up. Barry, Head, Hayes, and Alston were pretty much useless. Brooks was the one "good" guy except that he threw the ball away a ton and got a technical. We need to fix something here. I don't believe Battier's return will suddenly fix everything for us. There is something fundamentally wrong. Our Big 3 is playing AWFUL right now. T-Mac and Artest have HORRIBLE shot selection, and Yao passes up good shots like crazy (and looks gassed a lot of the time). Upon first glance, I say the whole Ron + Rockets chemistry thing (funny thing is Yao brought it up out of all people) is something we need to look at. I hope starting Battier might relieve some issues regarding it. The rest of the problems (T-Mac looks gone, Yao passes up opportunities too much, and our offense is much worse than JVG's), I just don't know what to say. This is only the beginning of the season, but from the looks of it, change is needed.

How about some of those passes by Yao tonight?

You know... those passes to... nowhere.

That has nothing to do with being injured. It may be fatigue to a certain extent. I think it's mostly sucking though.

I say we go on another 22 winning streak. That always cheers people up.

Absolutely correct: they have what Yao and TMac appear to be missing, heart. I have been watching Yao and TMac for years now. They have/had some exceptional skills, but they simply do not have the "heart of a champion." They just don't. The jury is no longer out, not there, nada, not happening. It is simply not in them, and there is no reason to keep fooling ourselves otherwise. Oh they will have good games in the future (I think), but there is a reason they have never advanced.
