no one will ever be like the Dream. Hakeem destroyed every center in the league. He'd run the floor on fast breaks and made 4 blocks a game. he was the man. too bad we couldn't stop him from aging. lock him at 29 years old, we'd be money right now.

    Dream 4 life.

I really hope yao can do this all the time as I said before. Even if at the cost of getting technical fouls and evicted. If the Yao can not be treated as a superstar by the refs, we have no hope going to the finals.

I never really paid attention to the "deer in headlights" phrase, when fans refer to the Rockets in clutch situations. But this game put me over the edge. We can blame the refs as much as we want, what I can't understand is how we can be so "unclutch" time after time. Boston was a an exception.

Adelman needs to do a better job of designing plays and sitting Rafer's ass on the bench at the end of games, I don't care who he's guarding. His substitutions are stupid. Having Brooks sit most of 4th quarter or at least towards the end, then bringing him in on the last play is just stupid. Adelman seriously needs to understand you can not have players on the FLOOR that CAN NOT SHOOT at the end of games when you NEED SHOOTERS. And if you must keep Rafer in the game please get the ball out of his hands after he crosses HALFCOURT.

I finally snapped and am tired of fans just celebrating after any W and complaining after every L.

For the love of God...none of you guys have come to the realization that the entire team is in a gigantic slump. THE ENTIRE TEAM

Aaron Brooks - Star of the first 4 weeks of the season has only broken double digits maybe 3 times since then.

Tracy Mcgrady - Injured....shooting very very poorly

Ron Artest- Injured - Shooting just as bad as tmac when he plays

Yao Ming - Not shooting as he should even though he has open shots

Barry- hasn't got into the rhythm

    Head- no explanation needed

    Rafer - No explanation needed

Battier - He needs to get it going....his defense is masking his terrible offense

    Landry- so so inconsistent

The only bright spots have been Wafer and Scola and even scola has sucked.

Look get that through your head and stop complaining. The rest of us get it. we get you are frustrated. Instead of bashing the team you root for...offer productive solutions we can discuss. PERIOD

Now to take my own advice. I suggest Adelman call a team meeting and just out right say...All 15 players are now earning their minutes. If you don't bring it then we won't bring you off that pine.

I disagree about landry...Landry is always consistant, but his touches are limited some games....

Rafer choked...but I don't agree that Yao gets a pass.
His actions were just as "unclutch" as Rafer's.
I mean, you're down 3 so you shoot as 2 point fadeaway?
    Who does that?
Especially with your point guard open in the corner screaming for the ball back.

that last play was horrible....i guess brooks got trapped and passed it to yao, and yao panicked and probably thought he had no time so he just shot the ball, just horrible broken down play. Brooks choked in the end, why pass it inside even if yao was open for a dunk? we would still be down by 1. the guards and plays were broken.

How did brooks choke??....He passed it into yao because he was shut down in the corner....When he passed it in, he was looking for a pass back out for a better look...but yao sold the game, and took the shot...Brooks would have had to take a fall away 3pter with a hand in his face.

My only complaint from last night(they had no business being in the game) was where was Brent Barry on the final possession last night?

The team signed him for situations exactly like that and instead landry, who isn't a threat from three, was in the game.

It was a good effort by the team. Yao should have never been thrown the ball. Some blame has to go on RA for not getting a better shot. I think it helped with the announcement of Tmac and Artest being out. Everyone now knows the horses that are left to run with, and they are not worried about deferring. Scola and Yao looked noticeably more aggressive looking for their shots.

Yao and Von carried this team.

WTF no hate/bashing on rafer...come on hes the reason we lost.
    and adelman.

But honestly Yao assisted on 3 or 4 different plays down the stretch when kobe got hot to keep him in the game. But to place the blame on Yao?
    Honestly you guys are idiots

    Rafer.
    Tmac.
    Artest.
    Adelman.

But yao? he didnt make an FG, but he commanded a myriad of double teams, and passed out of then quite nicely, to get an open shot. Granted he missed the last shot, which i dont understand why brooks got the ball, especially in the corner. The guy is 5 11 and didnt have any room to operate. What a boneheaded move.

Why hasnt anybody bashed carl landry for not taking a wide open shot when he clearly had it going?

This blame is all on Rafer "Brick Layer" Alston. Had this chump made at least 1 of 2 FTs, Rockets would not have to depend on a 3pt play. Ship this guy out already!
