The two most effecient shooters in the paint have no ball. That's the reason why rox lost this.

    Lakers are for champion
Rockets are for second round in playoff

Rockets are not class 1 team. Too much home work need to be done.hopefully we are still in 8 seeds team after tough games in March

I think the game changer was Ron Artest gambling on the steal and letting Kobe have the open three. That was just so so sick.

Adelman's substitution patterns continue to baffle me. Please rest Yao earlier so he can have more energy to produce later in the quarters. 3 minute rests after like 15 minutes of play is too much for our Big Fella.

I think Artest single-handedly lost it for us tonight with a number of questionable decisions on defense and eventually being the one to light a fire under Kobe's butt and make him explode on us. His offense was atrocious and I think Artest bringing the ball up is such a huge no-no.

Everyone else played fine, I thought. We gave up way too many boards in the third and couldn't hit an outside shot at all, but sometimes that happens.

    Stop Overreacting!

    Stop Overreacting!

Seriously, guys, we lost to the BEST team in the league, with the BEST player.

Look at the positive, goodness! I know we had lots of negatives in the game, but we played the Lakers well today.

We lost by 6, right? Imagine if Ron had made 3 more threes.

Yao couldn't catch a pass/box out? Contribute that to Aaron's lazy passing.

Plus, I know this is no excuse, but we were probably on a high from beating Denver. Also, our next game is against the Spurs, so we might have had a "looking ahead" syndrome.

Again, we held our own against Kobe and the BEST team in the league.

Oh, and guys? It's ONE game. One. It's not like we're out of the playoffs due to this game.

    Calm down.

come on guys, what is the deal? I know its hard to swallow but We lost to the best team in the league.
We already knew we lack in talent with mac going down.
we should rally behind the team in time of adversity

Artest effectively hijacked the Rockets offense. All that talk about how he had learned about team ball and whathaveyou and the very next game he does this...

I wouldnt have a problem with the loss if the Rockets had gone down as a team but they didnt. A drunk Artest took hold of the reins and wouldnt let go... and
    Adelman did nothing about it.

You mean his 4-11 before he made a few shots on the end would really lift a championship team? Did your incredible Von ever manage to put up less than 12 shots if he plays 15 minutes?

The Rockets will have real problems come playoff time. Every game is close and if you don't have a reliable scorer that can DRIBBLE and penetrate then your chances aren't that good. Our best two players are also the worst at dribble penetration at their perspective positions. If we have to rely on Wafer and Brooks to score in crunch time, then this team isn't going anywhere. This is when you need a player like McGrady (the retro version).

I thought about that the other day when I was watching the Bobcats and how good they are playing. Look at their coach Larry Brown and how he has made them better. Adelman has not had a full season of healthy players and he has still racked up some wins. I hate to think the Rockets would fire him but something has to change or the Rockets will never go anywhere !!!!!!

I was astounded to see Scola and Yao with low number of shot.

Even though both has hot hands.

It isn't the coaching staff fault, that after 6 years, Yao hasn't learned how to seal off his man by moving his feet and coming to the ball. He would have had Gasol in foul trouble. Plus his PnR D is horrible at best. I thought Gasol was Karl Malone the way he was hitting jumpers over him.

The Rockets just had a terrible 3-point shooting night. Add that to the 23 turnovers that they committed, it's actually surprising that the game was still close right down to the end. I think those are reasons to be optimistic. This is definitely a frustrating loss, but not one to be angry about.

Can we just please cut the if TMac was here bs, he is not coming back and I for one I am glad he will not be back in a Rockets uniform again. You can follow him where ever he ends up but if he is back here again I will not follow the Rokets again until he does finally leave. I am sick of people still wanting him back.

More than the tough lost, it is more painful to read Clutch game thread while watch the game, full of clueless bashing on players though out the game.

Hater, cant you just grow up and live a normal life, we are having fun by watch ball game here... :(
