I know Tmac aint coming back this season, but the hate on him has gotten pretty out of hand. I never thought the Chronicle would be dumb enough to compare the 2 to each other, but even they were.

All I'm saying is, a healthy Tmac makes life much easier for the Rockets. What the Rockets as a team could not do last night, Tmac could do by himself. Those things are

1.) Give Yao a good post entry pass and let him go to work.

2.) If Yao is fronted, run a pick n' roll with Yao, that gets him a layup or Tmac an open shot or layup.

3.) If they take away Yao and Tmac's option, then he finds another open player, because he will draw atleast a double team when he drives in. Scola/Landry for a layup or somebody else for an "open" 3 pointer.

4.) Let Tmac isolate, and he will give us a better shot than we had yesterday. (We shot 28 3's last night! Mostly in the 4th).

I just wanted to make sure people knew how dumb they sounded when they really believed Artest was a better basketball player than Tmac was. Its not even close on offense. Defensively, sure Artest is superior.

But last night, we neeeded offensive in the worst way, and Artest couldn't deliver points and he couldn't make plays or get Yao the ball. In the meantime, he was getting lit up, and embarrassed by Kobe as well.

I uunderstand people are frustrated with Tmac, but please analyze what he did on the basketball court. He performed and carried the Rockets. Do yall remember what our record without him was before this season?? It was horrible. Reason being, he did just about everything for us along with Yao. Without Tmac, the Rockets offense is not the same.

An for people who say Tmac is a ball stopper, what was last night?? I didn't see the offense being run, I saw Ron and AB dribbling out the clock and being bailed out by Wafer's hot shooting in the 4th. Atleast if Tmac stopped the ball, you knew he could do something with it instead of dribble the clock out.

Just don't take credit away from a man who clearly deserves it in Tmac. He did his part for 4 years. There wasn't much more he could've done in that time. Sorry if it doesn't belong in here, but I konw this does point out many of the current Rocket's flaws.

the reasons why we lost this game is because.
1)Ron Artest shooting 3's in the late 4th quarter when he was 0 FOR 6 WTF?
2)Rick Adelman not taking Ron out because of reason 1.
3)inconsistency by refs, 2 or 3 moving picks by Gasol, no call. Gasol falls down on a pick and its an offensive foul on Lowry. 2 minutes prior to that same thing happened and they called a foul on Lowry (he was on defense).
    4) Kobe Bryant elbows Ron Artest in the face and they call a foul on ARTEST?
that is at least a technical on KB if not an ejection so WTF?

Artest's ego cost us the game. Battier is not a good passer at all, he can't even make interior post passes to Yao. His passes are so predictable, no wonder it kept getting intercepted. With the clock running down, Wafer needs to make better decisions instead of ducking his head in and just driving aimlessly to the basket looking for a prayer foul. But he's young and still learning so i can live with that. Ron on the other hand, needs to stop trying to be a hero, esp on a cold night. this is why we lost.

Once again we were out coached in the second half. RA's inability to adjust to Jackson's half-time changes cost us the game.

    I would beg to differ:

    1. Turnovers

    2. Terrible 3pt shooting

    3. Too many 2nd chance opportunities in the 2nd half for the Lakers

Should we consider the fatigue factor? Like the 8th game in 14 days. You cannot seal his position the whole night, and Artest cannot hit a xxxx, I don't think that's usual. They are humans, I will give them a pass this time, unless they make the same mistake again.

what? Yao was not soft in first home game against lakers and everyone else did fine. But this time, it's no home game. I still remember some chicks screamed when Lowry went to the FT line and he missed the first one. Lakers is a very good team, we had a chance to beat them at home but our team do need support from fans. I saw the Rox players started to loose confidence when Toyota center cheered for lakers.

it was embarrassing how many lakers fans there were and as usual, the whole place leaves with minutes left in the fourth.

wat the hell happened last night! artest should've kept his mouth shut cause kobe handed it to his ass last night. and artest jackin up 3's!! wat the hell! yao didnt have a good game neither cause he could never seal off gasol. i expected us to lose as soon as we gave up that lead..we always give up leads and we can't do that in the playoffs. better have a bounce back game against bobcats cause after that is the spurs.

Well, at least we know we can play with the Lakers and build up a pretty good lead against them. Just have to learn from this game and learn how to maintain a lead, stay with what works, and adjust to what the other particular team does that needs to be stopped.

Kobe has played a lot of games over the last season and this. Last year's playoffs tot he Finals. Plus the Olympics. He'll hit a personal wall in a few weeks (hopefully at least).

Spurs looked way overmatched playing the Lakers, and they couldnt make big plays down the stretch. Players like Kobe Bryant make you think your team has serious problems when they dont.

It sure is. But he has a point. Yao gets the ball knocked out of his hands so easily. Its frustrating as hell.

Now now...no need to beef it up between each other. I know we are all 'down with' our Rockets.

All negative anger and energy will be redirected towards the effective dismantling of the Lakers and everyone else on route to our 3rd championship
