this is why the so-called 99-ers (in tinman's terms) are overrated.

I agree with you about them being the best team at this current point in the season. But I have to disagree with you on them being the best for the next 5 years. Kobe is not getting any younger and stranger things has happened in the NBA to teams with best record. Look up Dallas.

Why can't people admit the Lakers are just a better team? No gimmicks, no smoke. Just line up and my players are just better than your players.

when they double yao, the team does have a plan to make the other team pay. tonight they just couldn't hit their outside shots.

and i'm tired of seeing all this yao cannot seal his man crap. yes, there are times he doesn't seal his man well, but there are many times it's the passer. no one can seal his defender forever. there have also been times when yao has his man completely sealed for a split of a second (sometimes a full second), the pass does not come. they need practice this stuff.

yao's real problem, or a bigger issue, is his butterfingers. that, plus not using his elbows well.

The Rocks could have won this game. Should have won this game, IMO. Why should I "admit" they are better? On this night, they were very beatable.

The coach should design more plays for Yao facing the basket. We know Yao can make mid-range shots. It's a high percentage shot because he is so tall. Mixing things up can solve the problem of fronting. Otherwise the Rox offense becomes too predictable. We need to make maximum use of his abilities to be successful. I remember the Dream used to make tons of those, that is why is he is so hard to defend.

5-28...if you watched the Rockets and Hakeem they had games like this too....

If they hit 33% they win going away.....for the most part they stayed within the system, and just missed.

I will take 28 wide open 3s against the Lakers any day of the week and take my chances.

Aaron Brooks don't know how to pass it right to Yao. Lowry pass it perfectly...high and away. Brooks like to bounce pass i guess because he's short.

I'll tell you why I can't. You remove Kobe from their line-up, they look like the Clippers. I don't get it. We don't have any superstar, do have anyone who can handle the pressure and shoot the light out of the arena but still we manage to stick in.

Because if LA is better than us without Bynum and Odom, we have some serious problems.

I still believe everything I said.....Yao is a wuss, who hasn't learned how to spread out and use his elbows.....and Artest is a nutjob who goes ...well nuts some time.

But, at the end of the day, this team is still learning to trust each other.......and once they get the ball to AB or Lowry late.....and let our PGs make the decisions.....they will be fine.

This is a learning experience.....hopefully for Adelbrain too....not doubling Kobe...what an idiot.....
