If Ron shoots even close to his normal 3 pt percentage, the rox win. it'll be ok folks, ugly game b/c of the 23 turnovers but the defense wasn't bad, the team is fine, chillax people.

And yes. Artest made some huge mistakes. Overplaying Kobe was one of them

But freakin T-Mac supposedly is a franchise player. He is not. Yao supposedly is the other. He is clearly not.

You can't blame the other freaking guys trying to pick up the slack for these two soft bastards! How the hell Yao does NOT have 30 points tonight is ridiculous! And freakin 5 rebounds? At his height and weight.

    SOFT!

    That is bull****.

When has Yao went out and claimed to be a Franchise player?

He's the franchise player because he is he isn't out there claiming it.

And you're wrong anyway, Artest certainly thinks high of his play and what type of player he is.

You can't have 30 points on 9 shots?? Honestly some people need to stay away from making absurd comments.

Rockets lost because they gave the Lakers 18 more shot attempts (before they started fouling). This was due to poor rebounding and stupid turnovers. Shooting 5-28 from 3's didn't help either.

Looking back on that Artest gamble for the steal on Kobe, Kobe took a pretty deep 3. It was actually a bad shot, Kobe Bryant or not. It wasnt that bad of a play. If it didnt go in, people would have been like great D Ron. He was the reason it was even tipped out. Yao just needs to play better, and Brooks and Battier need to hit their open shots. Yes, Brooks missed a couple gimmes throughout the game. Brent Barry and Chuck Hayes should have been in this game tonight.

    yao went 7-9.

the problem is he didn't get the ball enough.

he's not sealing off his man, the post passes are often terrible (they even failed to get him the ball from around the 3 point line...) and he's getting stripped.

solution: yao be aware of where defenders are, and people learn how to pass from lowry/battier.

Let's look at the bright side: Ron is such an amazing defender. I love how he played Kobe physically and challenged him all 4th quarter. Wafer had a solid game and showed us he can play quality minutes under pressure.

The bad: Terrible outside-shooting tonight. The team shot 5/28 from three, and Artest and Battier combined 0/12. We missed too many outside shots tonight, that enabled the Lakers to pack in the paint and limit Yao and Scola on offense. Yao had an OK game, but this was no average game, this game was huge, and Yao's effort didn't match the game's importance.

I love Battier, but he really needs to get his shot back. I wonder if his wife would take exception to a Slump Buster :D

Did I say YAO SAID he is the franchise player?

Ask anyone in the freakin world who the Rockets franchise player is! Who you think they will say? Aaron Brooks?

    WTF!

Trying to now say your boy is not a franchise player is r****ded. I know he doesn't THINK he is. And thats part of the problem!

He is supposed to DEMAND the ball. TWENTY TOUCHES MINIMUM!

And yes, the coach supposed to call the plays, but you want the coach to seal his man also?

    Please.

Yao wasn't even fronted that much. Other players just can't get him the ball when Yao actually sealed Gasol, wait and wait until Gasol got good position.

Once Yao gets the ball, he'll wait and wait until double team comes instead of trying to score by himself.

I don't like Brooks. He can't defanse. He can't pass ball. If Adleman wants to let him play as the starting PG,please trade yao out!!! They can't play together.

You are saying that because Von Wafer THE NEW JORDON has proven that in the past 3 years?
