Idiotic post from an idiotic person after a bad loss.
    ---
This team just doesn't care for some games. It's really annoying. Last year, we were 2 wins away from 1st/2nd seed...

did artest not suck tonight? notice i didn't say "sucks," I said sucked.

and artest is overrated defensively, even Van Gundy has said it, his lateral quickness isn't the greatest, and he gambles ALOT.

and he's always been noted as a sort of blackhole offensively. we knew this acquiring him, we're hoping he can adjust to the team and adapt, didn't show any adapting tonight. anything other than a spot up three or deep position in the post is a negative for this team. it's not too late to change it, but everything I said was true...no need to call someone an idiot..

    please..

I know Artest is a blackhole, but many of you would have not said a thing if we had won. It's annoying to come complain after a bad loss. If I go through yesterday's game's thread, I would see ARTEST FOR MVP or ARTEST ROCKETS HERO-esque posts. His defense is not overrated; it's pretty even. He is a great perimeter defender with power and is probably one of the best to match up against LeBron. His ankle is slowing him down, I'm sure.

If you are going to complain about Artest's game, do it consistently, not just after losses. It's annoying and offensive. I still think Artest will be a vital piece during the playoffs because no one on his team has any guts to go to the rim, but it looks like he may be traded before that

as long as one doesn't rate artest's d beyond battier's, then he's not overrating it. let's just leave it at that.

ron is a good player. but over a half season has passed. injuries aside, he doesn't appear to fit in, and sometimes it doesn't appear that he wants to fit in, to the team offense.

and yes, when you're hot, just shoot it. actually you should be encouraged to shoot. any good pg will try to ride a hot shooter in a game until he cools down. but when cold, why not try something else? i for one was never excited about the return of #96 and #1 even in the detroit game.

Yao didn't stay in home for Chinese New YEAR. He wanted to play KNICKS ,but was refused by the trainer of the team for caution.

Untrue... because of salary caps and luxury tax, player salary has a lot to do with opportunity cost.

Lay off TMac? He was atrocious! If he keeps this up defenders won't even need to give him much attention.

People, Yao did NOT miss this game for Chinese year, it is common sense.

The reason is precaution, management wanna protect its asset.

Unbelievable the amount of 3 pointers shot by the Rockets.
They have to realize there's not a single good 3 pt shooter on the team (except for Barry). SO JUST STOP SHOOTING THE DAMN 3.

Those 3's come from not wanting to go inside and attack, because that takes work and energy.

Adleman has to do something about this pathetic 3 pt shooting fest.

Start fining anyone shooting 3's who's not completely open or is not a great shooter. Or just sit those happy trigger 3 point shooting idiots down.

We have some other players who would be more than likely to get in there and attack the basket looking for the high percentage jumper, lay up or dunk.

Did that idiot forget Yao was injured? As if he would stay home because of Chinese New Years - how does that even affect anything? Unless he's at home having a big celebration by himself (since you know, his family is in China and all), which is a little sad lol, I highly doubt that would be the reason.

    Dear Coach Adelman:

Next time we're down three in the last 24 seconds, how about calling TO and putting this line-up on the court: AB, BB, VW, CL, LS. Pretty-please, with sugar on top?

Even better, why not let that line-up close out games? That line-up usually gets us a lead... Why you ALWAYS go back to the limping starters is one of the great mysteries of the universe.

    Sincerely,
    eman

Uhh this was the 2nd game back with T-Mac and Artest... It ill take time for them to get back in the flow with the other guys. I agree that they need to move the ball a little more at times (especially artest who is not a good ball handler or passer), but T-Mac at least draws the double and is a good passer.

Say what ya'll want about Rafer, i'm glad he said what he said in his interview after the game. The guys (T-mac and artest) needed to hear it. He is trying to be a leader on this team and get everyone playing they way they should be playing. It will be interesting to see what they look like next game.

That's What I mentioned before, Without Yao, Rokeckts Just is a Jumper team with 30% Shoot rate like miami heat. Without Shark, Kobe can get 81point in one game but never get the CHAMP.

I am watching the replay on MSG and damn Artest never even tries to look up to pass (Scola was cutting to the basket opened) . At least Grady has his head up, but he is showing no movement when others have the ball.
