I'm not worried as much as I'm pissed. The intensity just isn't there since the streak ended. Especially on the defensive end.

SO what let's be happy? We've lost 2nd game in a row especially being in the West where you can not make playoffs even with 50 wins...

i just saw the highlights on ESPN. that last shot by tmac was the best he could have done. 2 guys were lunging at him and he had to do that. he was fouled though, but he never gets teh calls so i doubt if he plunged in, he would have got the call anyways.

Tracy wasn't fouled. He complicated things for himself by trying to get the refs involved on the last shot, instead of just shooting the ball.

I don't know where Rafer's head was at in those last possessions of the fourth quarter. He gave the ball to Chuck to create in the post. *shakes head*

I believe T Mac was upset after reading threads about him only imposing his will in the 4th of games against bad teams. Tonight he decided he would impose his will the first three quarters of the game against a bad team to show you the difference in the outcome.

We got Bobby "run out the shot clock" Jackson and Rafer Alston playing like garbage. McGrady drawing multiple defenders and making amazing passes to give guys easy layups that they can't convert.

Not to mention the tech on Deke that cost us the game.

    Pathetic.

The way the game was called all night, I'm almost certain the refs wouldn't have had the guts to make that call to begin with.

Rafer, unfortunately, is back to being Rafer. He isn't producing and as long as we're counting on him, I just don't see us being a legitimate playoff contender.

Coach needs not be scared to pull the plug. If he isn't producing, why not give a player like Brooks more minutes?

Damnit. Damnit. Damnit. Damnit. Damnit. We missed an opportunity to jump from 6th to 3rd...

Whaddya mean? Rafer has been consistently bad outside of the 22 win streak. For all his dribbling prowess, he can't create offense for others (hence T-mac leading the team in assists), so he usually ends up throwing up a teardrop or chucking a 3. With Yao in the lineup, he would just make an lazy entry pass and then just spot up on the 3. That's our point guard.

We won during the streak because if someone wasn't playing well RA wasn't afraid to try someone else, like a Novak or a Brooks or a Mike Harris. Now we just go with the same stuff that isn't working.

i think someone who gets worked up and upset about a rockets loss is more of a fan than someone who shrugs it off with ease.

Really, let's be fair to Rafer. How easily we forget games like the Lakers game where he just played great, but then of course there are games like these. His primary weakness is his inconsistency. I have always stood by the belief that Rafer is a BACKUP point guard, not someone you can rely on night in night out to carry the team to consistent wins. His inconsistency would be tolerable if he came off the bench; on nights when he plays well, he can only help us; on nights when he doesn't play well, his mistakes will be less crucial to the game playing against other backup guards and also the Adelmen could just pull him out anytime.

i think he did. 2 guys were lunging at him and there must be kind of contact. but tmac never gets calls nowadays.

sometimes its ok to suffer a loss.. because we know we could win the next one. This is a good situation where Dream comes and could help.. This is what Dream will bring.. "the attitude of a champion" he has the experience and he has to share it to the team.. tmac's last shot will bring the hunger to make clutch shots again.. Its better to lose at this style this time rather than the playoffs. and I love that the team will stay at 6 so we can face the lakers. Its fine for Chuck and Rafer.. give them confidence man.. it serve as a wakeup call.. anyway its really better to see teammates who does their best and their part but sometimes we really fail.. looking forward to regain back our winning ways..

    stay happy guys!
