Completely agree, that will also remind T-Mac that they were also doing great without him.
His ego is rising again for bad.

Rediculous. Some part T-Mac is to blame, but in some instances there wasn't any motion and guys were just standing so T-Mac had to go one on one. In this offense, it's kind of hard to single out a guy because there is a job for everyone to do not just stand around the 3 point arc. Especially with a willing passer like McGrady.

First of all I would like to see us running more plays for Shane on the offensive end. He can post up on smaller guys, but he is damn pretty good with his jumpshots so we can creat something to freeze him up for that 18footer.

ANd I would love Rafer to take less 3s and drive to the basket harder!

Luther Head dribbles too much, Bobby shoots to much, he should attack the rim more cause for example he was 0-4 from the 3pt line against Kings and he was getting good shots. It it is not falling than drive, we gotta attack the rim more, expecially 2nd unit.

DD and seth, you really think tmac wants to shoot 31 times?

he's as willing of a passer as anybody in the league. if someone is open, he's going to pass. from the highlights i saw yesterday, there were not a lot of movement on the other guys' part. it's their job to move to give tmac options on his passes.

tmac likes to pass more than to shoot anyways.

That's the problem. The ball was like a hot potato to him in the final 5 minutes of last night's game and he didn't want to have anything to do with it. I don't care you have missed 10 shots in a row. You are supposed to be the main guy and it's on you to prove that you deserve the title. You can never let a player like Rafer Alston to take over the game in crunch time. Never.

he wanted the ball. he shot it SEVEN times in the 4th quarter. the problem was when he was doubled off the pick and roll, nobody knew what to do with the ball. when two guys are trapping tmac on the perimeter, someone must be open to penetrate or finish in the paint. our players didn't know what to do with the ball when tmac give it up.

you can't expect tmac to shoot every possession do you?

that play by rafer was all on rafer. that was his stupidity taking over driving into the lane and throwing up a pathetic shot.

No, I don't think Tmac wants to shoot that much, so I don't blame him but blame the whole team for not moving etc....and Tmac is part of that issue...

DD- U won't admit it or lik it, but this was a typical bonzi wells type game. They played w/o a pg and the only counter we had was hayes. If u have bonzi, that solves the problems.

I think T Mac should renegotiate his salary at the end of the season. I'm not trying to knock him, ok, maybe a little, but I don't believe he is earning his paycheck. If he wants to be on a championship team and get out of the first round, he needs to voluntarily walk up to management and offer that for the good of the team if he is such a team player. Then we could use the extra cap space for a LEGIT third scoring option. If you wanna call we a T Mac hater, whatever, I'm not. I got his shoes, both colors of the new jerseys and a throwback of his, so hater I am not.

How can we communicate if I am talking about the final 5 mins while you want to talk about the whole 4th qtr? I have repeatedly emphasized in my posts that I had problem with how he handled the ball in the FINAL 5 MINUTES of the game. How many times did he shoot the ball other than the final shot during that stretch anyway? If you still want to talk about the whole 4th qtr, maybe you should find someone else to respond to.

terrible defense. missed layups. going away from tracy coming off of the picks, instead dumping the ball to him 20 feet out. tracy was shooting well from 15 feet when he was popping off a pick, why didn't they continue that?
but in the end, it was the defensive end that killed the rox, the rox didn't play the kings well all year, couldn't stop ron artest, couldn't stop kevin martin, and lucky that brad miller got kicked out b/c he was shooting lights out from 18 feet.

I agree, our defensive was not nearly good enough to win this game. Sure we held them under 100 but that first half was TURRIBLE.

We really need to find our defense again, we havent been the same since the lakers game...i hope its just a mini slump and we get back in the groove of things by tomorow..

Did great without him? O rly?

His ego is rising how so? What exactly about his game makes you think his ego is rising? Does he refuse to pass? Does he call out his teammates? Will you STOP trying to pass of your own conjecture as fact.

    You do it every time.

they clamped up the D. look at how kobe attempted only 1-2 shots v. memphis in the 4th a few games ago after jacking up a gazillion shots in the first 3 quarters.

our players have to be able to do something with the ball when tmac gives it up and keep the defense honest. this has happened too many times down the stretch. rafer doesn't know what to do with the ball as the PG.

What happened to the charges that we used to draw atleast 5-6 times a game? That helped shut down the paint with Yao out. And the hustle isn't there anymore. I was just watching some of the games from the streak, specially that last win against the Lakers, and on one possession, everyone was on the floor for the loose ball, including Mcgrady, who ended up having a jump ball with Kobe. (LOL @ Bill Worrell saying "there is about 100 million dollars worth of talent on the floor). But seriously, this is what wins us games. We need to start taking some charges and do a better job of shutting down the paint. And play with some intensity and hustle and we should be in good shape. Our offense still looks good, though I would like to see more of Tmac/Landry pick n roll.
