I don't think it was Brooks who made the pass.

That must have been one hell of a long shot shot considering roriguez was playing in new york tonight.

the kings shot 32% tonight. they were even worse offensively. i think landry's spark carried them.

i knew brooks wasn't going to have a good night when he jacked up so many shots that early and they weren't going in.

and it's easily brooks' team right now. we go as he goes offensively.

Seeing Conroy play makes me miss Kyle so much more, Kyle spoiled us and no one can fill his shoes. We need him, asap. Also you can tell Shane still feels bad, he got knocked down a couple times, and it took him some time to get up. Hope all 3 guys feel better by the weekend

Brooks is the PG of the team before "a shooter" or whatever he wants to be, so he has some responsibilities. When he plays for the system, involves his partners, and then scores, he can do great games like that against the Raptors the other night. When he forgets about everything and starts playing alone, ignoring the system, his partners and all the game, you can blame it on Brooks. So yes, this is especially on Brooks offensively, and on the team effort at the rebounding on the other end. And above all, on Adelman, of course.

Say whatever, but we should have won this one.

not sure if anyone pointed this out, but besides their edge in off rebounds they also got second shots off of turnovers and kept theirs to 8.
No one on their team had more than 1. They need to put more pressure and be more active towards whoever has the ball.

Just got home, debating whether to watch this game or play some Live 2010. Probably the latter.

Thoughts from seeing the box..... If AB doesn't have it going, he should defer a bit. Thats the point of having Kmart. I would rather Kmart take 25 shots and AB take the 13 on any given night anyways.

AB is a good fit next to Martin, and I think they can do great things. But I do wonder if Brooks has developed a little bit of a scorers ego. Sometimes that can be great, and sometimes it can get in the way of winning.

Story of the game. Why would he take Chuck out with 4 fouls early in the 3rd just so he could NOT bring him back? And Chuck wouldn't have even had 3 fouls going into the 3rd had Scola not done that ridiculous flop. This guys defense is an embarrassment.

And when Landry went by Anderson on that one play, wow. Just atrocious.

And what boggles the mind is how Michael Jordan selected both Kwame Brown AND Jared Jeffries. How in the heck could the best basketball player of all time not be able to spot talent?

As for Adelman, I think Morey has told him to lose as many games as possible to get more lottery balls. I have always had problems with Adelman's offense first, offense second, and defense a distant third mentality, but even he can't be this bad of a coach. The guy looks like he is asleep on the bench.

I like your optimism. :) And these guys have put up a fight considering the roster they had. I hope they make it to the play offs. That'll be really fun to watch, but if we don't you really can't say this year has been a success.

Everyone was shooting like crap, Martin was shooting even worse than Brooks. The offense did nothing but stand around during the 2nd half. Brooks just took it upon himself to throw up the shots no one was willing to take. Yeah, he didn't play well, but who else is gonna take those?

Also wanted to add, did anyone else notice how rough the King players were with Kevin, they pushed & shoved him alot. Wonder what it will be like in April when we play the them again.

We will crush the Kings, see them driven before us, and hear the lamentations of their women.

Regardless if we make the playoffs or not, this season will be a success. Nobody even had us winning 20 games, let alone 48, which we might be on pace to.

Look at how some teams are struggling by adding old players who were past their primes. We need to get a high draft pick, but if we make the playoffs, that would be sweet though.

We need to keep in mind that this season is a developmental year and has been one since finding out our Big Fella was out for the season. Yao is the key to all of this.

Next year, I can't wait to see what our Roster looks like! We could go after proven talent such as Bosh or Amare, or improve through the draft.

This years draft is full of big men that ooze potential. Monroe, Davis, Cousins, Favors, Udoh, Donatas, Patterson, and Alabi all come to my mind.

I didn't get to watch the game, but I remember checking the box score in the opening minutes. Kevin Martin went 2-3, and I thought "Wow he's off to a good start". Little did I know he would go 1-10 the rest of the way. :(
