Martin is not a superstar lol. i'm from sacramento and i wouldn't lie to myself that badly. i'm nervous about tyreke leaving us when/if he becomes a superstar. i'd prefer the rockets win but i also wanted the kings to win because i don't like martin. today's question/poll in the sports section of the sacramento bee was....you guessed it....ARE the kings better without Kevin Martin? needless to say, i voted yes. i'm not going by the kings being 4-0 with him out, i'm going by what i've seen. that doesn't mean he's a terrible player. he just isn't a good first or second option. pressure on martin = fail.
he needs to stop giving into the defense, when he truns the corner ont he baseling he should keep going and force them to foul him instead of jumping out of bounds to pass it back in...

did ariza seriously take 12 3s in this game? that's just stupid basketball. he started great, but fizzled. AB with his 3rd straight subpar game. i guess his inconsistency is still there, not a good sign. and we're not a very good road team. point blank. with a lack of practice time with a tough schedule, it's going to be tough for us.
You know it's funny you should mention that, it looks like Kyle needs the contact to finish at the rim. He literaly threw himself at the defense, and when there was no contact he was out of control and couldn't get a layup to drop. Maybe the best way to defend Kyle is to just back peddle and avoid contact.

after seeing these past few games, morey has to think: kmart leaves and the kings are 4-0, more balanced scoring, better defense, and allowing a young star to shine in evans. so no, that rumor has no legs.
Of course I'm a Rockets fan but KMart has been their franchise for a few years now the guy can flat out play. To me he's a Superstar the guy does it all ! Battier and Brooks for a Healthy KMart ? I'll take that any day
I almost wish he would stop and pop from about 12 ft. When the defense loads up the paint the is a soft spot right below the elbow, we just need to stop overpenetrating and take the midrange jumper.
Alot of King fans I've talked to think the team plays better without Martin.......they say all he does is put up empty stats and honestly after seeing the Kings tonight.....they're right.
I think you get me wrong. I know this new rockets are well-known for its toughness and heart in this season so far. But in tonight game vs Kings, I don't see any toughness and heart, we were outrebounded all the time, it's my personal idea.
