This was just a bad game for the rox cause they outrebounded us and got the second chance points. They also got a few questionable calls their way. They also have good young players who will be stars in the future, although Thompson can be a little dirty (over the backs).

I don't watch Kings' games, but compared to last year when we played them, they play much better without Kevin Martin. I think he's one of those players who slows down their offense. It's interesting they got hot as soon as he got injured. Maybe they should trade him (Not Here).

Also, Kenny Thomas and Udoka made hard it for the rockets to get good shots. If they play like this every night, they could surprise everyone and win like 40 something games.

I wouldn't bet on it with 9 games going into the season. Evans is going to contend in the ROY column with Blake.

you see stars when you see them. simple as that. there may be rare cases, but usually when i see a guy play and his talent level, i can tell if he's going to be a star or not (it just depends on whether the guy puts in the work).

evans is going to be A STAR. point blank.

PS - brandon jennings may have something to say about that as well.

    Take the stats of Kobe
It took him four seasons to become a star. In the third season he became a starter of 50 games. You don't see who becomes an allstar, or the best player in the game, right away. You would be a illusionist if you could see that. For some it takes longer than for others. I would not mind having some borderline allstars on the team.

no, i can always see. i can tell if he's gonna be a star right away. usually i am right. but if he doesn't pan out, that's because he didn't work hard; and i will be still right. i mean, he could've been a star... lol.

we lost cuz of our bench play. landry with 2 points? that can't happen. we need t-mac or a trade for him. cuz we need a dominant player.

I wondered if the guys thought they could go play and get a easy win and when it became apparent that this version of the Kings don't give up, it threw the game off for them. I also wonder if they were upset about Pops getting cut, sure it's a business but they all seemed to like him. Who knows what happened.

I don't know if its just me, but it seemed a lot of uncalled loose ball fouls. We usually fight for rebounds with better positioning, but I noticed quite a few times where their bigs would just push our guys around and use their height advantage.

True, but usually an off night includes at least one of the things that you've mentioned.

It did seem like they got away with a lot of pushing on rebounds.

This is such an invalid statement.

I'm guessing you just starting watching the NBA like three years ago.

    Sacramento Kings:
    Playoff Appearances: 29
    Overall Playoff Record: 80-107
    NBA Championships: 1 (1951)

The Kings made the playoffs every season from 1999-2006. In 2002, they were one game away from being in the Finals. I'll give you last season since we had the worst record in the NBA. Maybe you should catch up on your history.

The record for continuous freezing temperatures in Houston was from Jan. 29 to Feb. 3, 1951. I can tell you that it was cold.
