i shouldve just bashed my head into the wall for 2 and a half hours that wouldve been a more productive use of my time
we need to start every game against Utah with someone punching a Utah player in the face.... just sign random people to 10 day contracts.
There was that one stretch when Wafer and Lowry took many quick shots which they could not convert when they went to basket. I think that played big factor on how big their lead became. To Utah's credit, they blocked a lot of shots and converted points from those blocked shots.
lets just pray we dont have to face Jazz in the playoff. not a good match-up for rox, mentally and physically....
Man I love Ron Ron but tonight he really disappointed me, 5-22? wtf man!? Yao is no surprise to me. He always get owned by the Jazz.
Seriously, this guy needs to be downgraded. WTF you trying to say? That TMac could have saved us? Too bad he quit on the team first..
I miss a healthy _________. But we shot poorly. Rebounding was good, defence was semi-decent, but Ron Artest with like 5-24~~ didn't help much.
This loss is on the pure stupidity of Lowry, Artest and Wafer. Sometimes I think Wafer belongs in the same headcase class as Artest. How many times does he have to toss up idiotic, off-balance shots on fast breaks before he figures out it's a bad idea? What's the saying? If you keep doing the same thing the same way and expect a different result, you are insane. I'll cut Lowry some slack because I haven't seen him lose his mind like this before. AB had his ups and downs. In the 3rd quarter and part of the 4th, he dished perfect passes leading to several wide open shots that the others bricked. I don't care if the season series is tied 2-2, the Jazz own the Rockets.
Although this is another story, you gotta wonder how far up in the standings the Rox would be in the #2 spot if they woulda beat Memphis, Washington, Chicago, & the Pacers. OTOH, that Spurs win on the road was not too expected.
The Rockets decided that they were the Phoenix Suns tonight. It's really that simple. We need to play more halfcourt, get the ball to Yao, and do a better job protecting the paint. You do that, you can beat the Jazz. Simple.
If we had Carl it might have been different. We had trouble getting easy points tonight and Landry can provide some easy points. Ron tried to do too much out there. Yao was slow and soft as usual. Scola had a decent game, but he seriously needs more shots. AB is still Deron's b****. This is the first real bad game that Lowry had as a Rocket. And Von Wafer might be a liability in the playoffs.
This is probably the team where we miss McGrady the most. He most always plays well vs the j*zz and they don't really have anyone to guard. Of course, I'm talking about a healthy Mac but this is team we most miss him against. Yao just never got in a groove tonight and Ron tried hard but wasn't thinking most of the night. That atmosphere is extremely hard to play in. I really hope we can avoid the j*zz in the playoffs.
