my take from this game is that: Yao is too soft!!! The only all-star on our team, how many free throw he attempted tonight?! As far as i remember, whenever there is a important game, Yao always shyed away. I don't blame Artest went crazy in the fourth quarter, because our all-star couldn't do ****. I know many of you would argue that Yao was double teamed, ok, i gave you that in fourth quater he was double teamed, but how about first three quaters, how many times you saw him agressively attacked the basket against Okur?! Don't get me wrong, Yao is a good player, but he is not an all-star!!!
houston made stops, out rebs j*zz but just turned out no one can make a shot within 2 ft of the rim to 20 ft from the rim
There aren't too many of them I could stand. The Rockets deserved to lose the game - they were just so disorganized and running around like headless chicken.
Alsothe reason I say Tmac is because the Jazz take our best players out of the game. Yao is owned by Okur...EVERYTIME and Ron Ron was just owned by Brewer...so now we're going to guys like Brooks and depending on Brooks to score...not going to cut it. Tmac actually forced whoever was guarding him on the Jazz to work...Artest just does dumb things like jack up shots and throw up crazy layups while Yao is getting pushed in the paint and acting like a sissy. The crazy thing about it...this team was playing great up until they played Utah...TWICE now. I think it is a mental thing and on top of that we don't match up well with them. We need a big time player, and although Tmac is always hurt and you question his desire to win...he was a big time player for us.
I think Brooks deserve to shoot the 3 rather than Artest. If Artest is going to shoot 3 and not drive, then it's better let Brooks do it ...just run pick n roll with Yao and go for 3s. Brooks is a better shooter.
aaron did play well, when we went small he got inside and kicked it out but the person he passed it to missed
lets see............ be a hero or go to the second round for the first time in over a decade and get the media monkey off your back.....???????? not to tough a decision
Agreed that no one respects a coward, but I think it's safe to say, the Jazz have our number. Percentage-wise, we have a much higher statistical chance getting out of the first round against someone else. I think as a Rockets fan, that is the current goal: get out of the first round with contention of a Championship. Goal 1: Playoffs Goal 2: First Round Goal 3: Approach if Goal 2 is met.
Artest tried to be Kobe again Our two PGs lost control Wafer could only see the rim, no teammates Yao has no feeling We missed so many wild open 3pts How could we win when all above happen Our players and RA, how much do you learn from this game?
