I shall create a sign that says, "Win or lose, you still live in Utah."

I am so proud of these guys. These games are barely slipping...

yessir. the western conference is only getting tougher. Even denver, suns will try to get better along with mavs and ourselves. I hate seeing the spurs being so successful.

You know that polygamist ranch that got cracked down on recently. Utah is the source of that craziness.

No matter what happens, it's good to know I don't live anywhere near the homebase of those whackos.

^ actually, the suns are falling and they arent gonna be good anytime soon seeing they traded away their 2010 pick. Nash isnt getting any younger and is still a big defensive liability.

Denver? As long as Karl is still there, they suck.

Portland would be on the rise i guess depending on how Oden turns out..if hes a bust, they'll suck for another year.

Mavs are kinda iffy because they have yet to be really familiar with Kidd.

As far as our team goes, we have a bright future with Landry and Brooks along with a certain 7'6 chinese center and Tmac. We just have to be healthy come playoff time and we will kick butts and hopefully the first-round curse will find another victim and haunt them for the next 10 years.. (most preferably the Jazz)

We desperately need another star so that we don't have to wear tmac or Yao down before play off.

Do you think Bonzi was our 3rd scorer
    :( :( :( :( :( :( :( :(

Is this what our 3rd scorer did?????????????????
    Bonzi 9.2 point - 42FG% - 21 3p% - 63 FT%.

I tough Rafers 13+ PPG or Scola 10.3 PPG or Battier 9.3 PPG was our 3rd, 4th and 5th Scorer.

not star because we have enough in Yao and McGrady. We just need that 3rd scorer who could really take over when for example Yao or Mac are doubled.

What worries me is that teams like the Jazz, Hornets and Blazers are only going to get better.

Meanwhile, teams like the Lakers and Spurs have a few good years left in them.

It's hard to say what will happen to the Mavs and Suns but they should find a way to hang around for a couple more seasons.

If the Rockets want to contend for a CHAMPIONSHIP with a team built around Yao and McGrady, they need to do something quickly to get to the next level or we will be destined to watching 1st, and maybe 2nd, round exits year after year come postseason.

We absolutely need a real PG and we absolutely need another scorer. The difference between a good team like the Rockets and a great team like the Spurs or Pistons is not that much... but there is a difference. We need to shore up our weaknesses or we will end up with a 2nd-tier team until Yao retires.

Houston's Luther Head had to be restrained during an apparent confrontation with Rafer Alston during a timeout in the first quarter. Head retreated to the locker room briefly before teammate Bobby Jackson and trainer Keith Jones escorted him back to the bench.

did everyone see Feigen's McGrady quote in his blog:Instead, Mehmet Okur got past Tracy McGrady, got the rebound, drew the foul and iced the win at the line.McGrady then pointed his finger at everyone else."I came from the weak side," he said. "I hit the ball off the glass and Carl just mistimed it. Okur came over and got the rebound. It was a big rebound we didn't get. That was the point where Dikembe and those guys should have been in the game because we would have called a time out had we gotten the rebound."They would have and it might have worked that way. But Adelman, who has had McGrady's back through every criticism sent his way in the series, probably did not need to have his star player second-guess him, particularly when his star player had his hand on the ball. The way I saw that play was that Landry had position to get the rebound until Tmac came over and tipped it to Okur... but according to Tmac it was Adelman and Landry's fault.Tmac also had a wide open free throw jumper with about 2mins left that he, for whatecer reason, passed up and dished it to Bobby Jackson [who shot like sh-t] for a 3. WTF? I guess any shot from the free throw area is a tough one for Tmac.

That quote really should have pissed me off greatly but unfortunately, this is the kind of whine I have come to expect from McGrady so I was not surprised in the least. You could see something like this coming with his little "blame me" speech on Friday. If he thinks that he's being treated here unfairly then maybe it's time for him to request a trade. If he takes a few more damn shots in the last period then it wouldn't have come down to something like this. At times like this I'd much rather he just learn to STFU.

Alston probably said, "Hey Luther would you mind making one shot this series? Just one?"

The Rockets undoubtedly did a good job overall pressuring the Jazz at their own home. What really hurt us was our offense. We kept dishing for jump shots when we could have taken advantage by driving in. At times Jackson would just shoot the ball when none of our rebounders would be under the post. This causes so much frustration especially to the ones watching the game. I noticed also in the past games, whenever we benefit from a turnover we messup by rushing everything. The last part when Deron missed his freethrows and Battier was called for the foul didn't hurt me at all. Why? I don't think we could have tied up the game if McGrady or Landy got the rebound to begin with. Our offense needs improvement, and of course FT.

He also needs to make a few more free throws and maybe we don't need that rebound.
