Yes, it (allowing 67.5% shooting from the field) happens. Before tonight, there have been 26,809 regular season NBA games played since the 86-87 season, and it has happened 6 times in that span.

Ok, so it was a statistical anomoly, so what? It happens.

It is not like they were shooting layups Durvasa, they were shooting lights out on jumpers.

Sure we could have played better defense but they just made shot after shot.....

A rarity, I will give you.....but sometimes the other team just plays better.

    It was the case tonight.

    I miss Yao too.

The Jazz were just hot tonight. The Rockets had a game against the Bucks where they shot a high percentage throughout the game it does happen. The next five games will be key, if the Rockets go 5-0 they have a chance to still make the playoffs but the key is to win 5 in a row. I will rooting for the team no matter what happens. Go Rockets!!!

It was unbelievable how crazy those shots were for the Jazz... I mean the Rockets were playing pretty damn good ball, just a few bad shots selected by Brooks and bad passes that lead to turnovers...

But man those 3 backtoback threes killed us.

yeah this isn't just a "it happens moment"...it was surreal looking at the boxscore and seeing EVERYONE shoot not just well, but extremely well. Only 2 out of 10 guys shot under 50%. Okur shot the worst out of the starters and he was 6 of 11. Matthews 7 of 9 and boozer 8-9. Miles 4 of 5. We're talking near perfection here. 6 of 10 for millsap off the bench. That's perimeter and post players. Hate to see the Rockets on the other end of that. We learned this year how important Yao was to our D, now we're seeing how important Battier it is. Of course Lowry and Ariza are important as well, but i think lowry has more impact as a one on one defender. Ariza's impact is greater than lowry's as does the one on one thing too, but also roams to help on d. Battier does all of that too, perhaps not as well as he once did, but he adds direction to this team's d as well.

Just watch the first quarter if you want to see Williams & Martin go off.

The first half was okay, they were shooting about 90%, but we were keeping up with them. Good first half by Martin.

Rockets missing Battier, Ariza, and Lowry. Three key defensive players. I hope they all come back soon.

The j*zz did to the Rockets what the Rockets just did to the Bucks a couple of weeks ago. They hit, seemingly, every 3 pointer they jacked up. Many of them were contested.

It was expected and while sad, not a whole lot the Rockets could have done about it.

You lose that many players to injury and flu and you got nothin'.

And add that to a back to back where the starters go long.

This is no coincidence by far. The j*zz got it all together again and are playing very good basketball this year. :(

David Andersen, he should not be seeing any more minutes period. I've had enough of him

Kevin Martin played a very good offensive game, unfortunately he couldn't keep wesley from scoring on him.

Defense was atrocious. Guys were not rotating, Aaron Brooks and Kevin Martin are not big enough to fight through picks, which led to them getting open shots.

The defense contributed to them making shot after shot. The 3-pointers were very poorly contested all night.
