Good game to watch, except the last couple of minutes. Aaron is definately trying too hard. Thats not always a bad thing but when it doesn't work, it looks real bad. And Landry, why are you outside the paint so much? And Shane, sorry, but I'm starting to see less and less of his value as a starter. Yes, I understand we don't have a lot of options, but this is my own POV. I always felt he contributed something, anything, but of late, not much. Accepting a loosing season is not the same as experiencing loss after loss. The rest of the season is going to be tough pill to take.... -
Anyone else impressed by Trevor Ariza? He hasn't been chucking up shots lately and his defense has been solid.
Tough to say "impressed" when he missed a wide-open shot to tie the game in the final minute (not that he was the only one). Still, it was definitely one of his better games. Hope he keeps it up.
Liked him when he was a Rocket. But he really messed with the team and the front office has a long memory. The bridge was burned long ago and regardless if TMac comes back strong or not, he is not a Rocket now and good luck where ever he lands.
Matt Bullard on 610 AM is on top of him game about the Jazz Inexact words, Jazz for 20 years have played Jerry Sloan ball. He's played against and its a physical battle, they set hard picks on you all game long. Stockton gives you a cheap shot. You get him back and he flops. Thats Jazz basketball. Andrei Kirilenko used to gel his hair up, have it short. Now he's grown his hair and its just added MORE to his "flop-ability"
i was at the game. i don't know what exactly happened because i was watching it the whole time and we were right in the mix, up to that last 2 minutes that is. and what do you know? we lose; at home! i mean wth?? i don't know how much longer i can take it, but something needs to change... and soon! i was listening to espn radio and they were talking about everything covering the mcgrady trade. i heard both sides of the argument and i have come to the opinion that it would be best not to trade him and instead just let his contract expire. if we act desperately, then our whole team will regret it. i hope dm stays patient. the trade i heard them talking about yesterday was mcgrady and dorsey for harrington, jordan hill, and jered jefferies. i don't feel good about that trade at all. even though we would only have jefferies for a year, what are we going to do with another small forward in harrington in the lineup? where is jordan hill gonna fit? are we sidelining scola/landry/hayes? and dorsey is ready already and he is exactly the size that our team needs. why cant they just work him in the rotation? i believe he can really help us out on the boards and clogging the lane defensively, and even offensively when he gets running down court he can help finish strong if he is breaking with the right people (lowry/cbud/scola). DONT TRADE DORSEY!!! i know we need something to spark our team, but i don't think a trade is what will do it. i think ra should try switching the starters in and out and tap into our reserves to see what they can bring to the table. after all, we did draft them, right? so play them. see what happens. my two cents for today.
Am I the only one who thought that this was our season to suck???? What did you guys expect? Yeh we got off to a good start but realistically we havent much to work with.
He would prob do better if someone on our team learned how to set a fricken pick for him to go around and then cut to the basket for a layup...HATE THE JAZZ!!!!!!(how do we get deron williams on our team?)
