Yep. You can't be that passive with a player like him. He has played already almost 100 games as starter and he keeps doing some of the dumb things he did in his first games in the league. And he will.
Too late to trade Battier now. Everybody sees he's a terrible player now. I am tired hearing of his intangibles and he's supposed to be co-captain with Hayes ? Don't make me laugh. The guy is far from a leader. Thorpe & Hakeem were real captains.
Brooks problem really concerns me...the Chicago deal is the one that I'm leaning to especially if we are getting back Hinrich...if we receive a bloated trash, I'd rather have someone who can produce instead of Jeffries.
Have you ever seen Adelman rip into him? I hate to keep going back to Popovich but Popovich wouldn't tolerate two consecutive plays like some that Brooks makes on a regular basis. I think Brooks made about 10 bad to horrible decisions in the 2nd half without a peep coming out of Adelman. You have to scare the player into check if the "let him play and figure it out" strategy isn't working.
I agree, but lately I don't know if it's the trade talk or what but he has been starting to show bad body language lately. Only saw the second half and parts of the beginning but he didn't pass much if at all during the second half.
on behalf of tracy.... he has been out for 1 year... what make you haters think he lost his game? he was born to play basketball. he may have lost some skills but he has already gotten it back with some new skills that you will see very soon. the wind will blow the dust off your eyes and you will see the true meaning of "don't judge a book by its cover".
Forget the end We have to stop getting behind into double digit score every single time. We have to change the starting lineup no matter what.
Hinrich will make baby Jesus cry. I hate to tell you, I watch alot of Bulls games and Kirk is far from the answer at point for us.
He gets into that mode all too often. I don't think it's just the trade talks, if that is a factor at all. I think part of it is Adelman urging him to stay aggressive and the other part is Brooks, despite good intentions, feeling that he has to step up and try to make things out of nothing. He ends up just forcing things more often than not and contributing to the offensive slumps when he does that. Have you noticed that he is often more passive in first quarters and then goes into this mode in the second half? Again, I think it's both Adelman urging him to be aggressive and also Brooks thinking he's helping the team by forcing things. You want him to be aggressive but he has to pick his spots, not go multiple consecutive possessions at one speed trying to score the ball.
Will it be the wind of the guy he's defending blowing past him because he has the lateral movement of my grandfather at this point in his career? Or will it be the wind of the other 4 players on his team cutting extra hard off the ball on the offensive end to compensate for McGrady going into statue mode?
If they let T-mac take his crutches out on the court I fully expect him to put up big numbers. Just don't expect many rebounds.
no my friend, it will be the wind of his farts that the defenders will be feeling. T-MAC speed is supreme, even to his orlando days!! how do i know? well lets just say i have a magic 8 ball. I truly want to thank the rockets and all the haters for Waking up a sleeping killer.
Hey BrooksBall this if an off topic question but what were you talking about being able to meet Lowry/Brooks Saturday? Planning on meeting Landry/Scola on Friday and would be even better meeting Brooks.
What ever happened to Dorsey? How come he didn't get any playing time? I think we coulda used him to neutralize Okur or Millsap.
I was joking. My bad. The joke was that Morey had Scola and Landry doing signings at the same time to see who drew more fans, with that player staying on the team. I extended the joke to say he was doing the same with Brooks and Lowry.
Old men do fart a lot. I suppose McGrady will be going into statue mode, back to the defender, 20 feet from the basket and farting on them. Since he no longer requires a double team, as his mobility and first step are now below average, his passing skills are much less of a threat. He'll either pass out or shoot Brian Cook-esque line drives from just inside the 3pt line. Opposing coaches will be jizzing their pants over that type of play. Kyle Lowry will be able to lock him down with one hand behind his back and one eye closed. We won't even need to put Battier or Ariza on him.
.........I hate you so much . LOL nah well at least I get to meet Landry and Scola. I hope to God that Scola doesn't get traded the day before I try to meet him.
