We have sucked the whole year for those reasons I said.

But your right, Rick should have made replacements earlier and he did mess up. He should have subbed to rest guys.

They should all blame themselves because they all sucked when they didn't need too ("winning" time).

I think his contract is over after this year. How timely for him, to go seek out opportunities with the Blazers and Lakers...

Great job Morey. You've helped make us a worse team than last year! Awesome!

I seldom say this... but this loss is on poor coaching decisions.

You may be right. But it's certainly far from a guarantee. That tiebreaker hurts, though.

I'd also look for Denver to plummet out of the playoffs after they trade Melo. Hell, they'd probably PREFER to get a lottery pick.

This could be his last one.

I can't complain because he doesn't have the right personnel. The Rockets need a defensive center, but those aren't easy to find.

    Ouch.

Lowry had no business taking that three at the end. We could've tried for a quick two and then fouled...

I would even include the Hornets on that list. They're struggling seriously, have a very tough calendar until the end of season, and still haven't had no injuries from any starter.

I also think is still soon to say we have no chances. We have important players injured coming back this month, and we're waiting a movement to happen that hopefully will improve the team. Still 45 games to play, with a very favourable calendar since 3rd of February.

This one hurt. Rockets and Longhorns both losing in OT games today. *sigh*

That would have been the smart thing to do, but I'm glad someone has the balls to shoot a three in the last minute. As long as its not Brad Miller.

Yep, I was thinking the same thing.

Patterson was showing a lot of good things in that first half, even if the numbers weren't there, and he couldn't get any burn in the second half? SMH.

I had a flashback to the 05-06 season when JVG would opt to play Juwan Howard instead of the inexperienced but highly effective Chuck Hayes late in games. Frustrating.

Kevin Martin, with all his scoring talent, cannot be a closer for our team. Other than fumbling the ball with 2 seconds left in the game, he relies too much on the whistle to be effective. His style of play would not pass in the playoffs, IF we get there. I'm also tired of his poor defense and flopping.

I'm hoping for this trade: Martin for OJ Mayo and Thabeet.

Not to ask a very stupid question, but . . .

    What does "SMH" stand for?

I've never understood that one; and I don't have my English-Internet, Internet-English dictionary handy.

I know Hollinger gets a bad wrap (mostly from people who don't understand his formulas), but his playoff odds page is generally a great predictor, because it takes into point differentials and SOS. http://espn.go.com/nba/hollinger/playoffodds

It doesn't bode well for Rockets right now. Beating the vanilla teams (SACx2, GSW, LAC, MEM) a few weeks ago gave a lot of people a false sens of hope.
