I really don't understand the logic behind playing miller and scola together for that much time. At first I had to assume that Jordan Hill and Patrick Patterson must have both somehow been injured. Otherwise, it would be silly to play two older players who have at the best of times limited athleticism against the utah jazz who consistently have one of the best pick and roll offenses in the league. The result was predictable. Millsap made wide open jumper after wide open jumper while scola watched.

My biggest pet peeve from this game, outside of the rotation, was the fans who yelled at screamed at Brad miller for shooting wide open 3s, while at the same time asking for lowry to shoot more. Seriously do not understand the logic behind that argument. Yes miller had trouble shooting tonight, but he is a very good three point shooter, and only took shots when wide open, with set feet, and had within the flow of the offense. While his misses killed us, each shot was a good decision. The result is not all that matters. A bad shot is a bad shot, whether or not it goes in and the same is true for a good shot.

In the random trade thread I said dump Bra Miller (no D) , some one said he is our best per player, yeah, so much for that stat. How many games has he cost us with his poor defence and jacking up 3 after 3? Too many.

We need to do something trade wise right now.

Go after J smoove and then Dalembert. Put them with our offence and we are back in the season, otherwise book a ticket to the garden for the next draft lottery.

We have an offensive minded coach and our offense isn't even fun to watch. If we're not gonna play defense, at least i wanna see an offense like D'Antoni's Knicks.

I think we've found the Rockets' New Year's Resolution: #1 Draft Pick.

If we could trade for McGee, J Smoove, and or G Wallace, Dalembert & Landry we could potentially have a D'Antoni type offence, that plays D.

    Imagine:
    Lowry
    Martin
    J smoove or Wallace
    Scola or Landry
    McGee & Dalembert

Scola is an offensive weapon, but must be used correctly and have a shot blocked backing him up on D, not a Bra Miller.

    Trade now!

If the most bashed guy, is the leader of the team at BOTH points and rebounds....
Then something must be must be missing in the analysis of many fans...
Are you sure the rest of the guys played a better game than Scola?

    EXACTLY!!

There are TONS of assets (Hufe Yao expiring, other expirings, 2011 first round pick, young cheap talent (recent MIP, Budinger, Hill, Patterson).....

I can't believe that the only move was bringing Terrence Williams so far...and the assets are keeping unused and losing trade value as time goes by....

Should have won this game easily. Jazz were guarding the three absolutely terribly, especially considering the Rockets are one of best three-point shooting teams in the league. We just had a ridiculous off night shooting (12% from three).

Anyway, I don't think the Rockets played such a bad game as others are suggesting...certainly not "embarrassing." Held the Jazz to below their season average in regulation. I thought our perimter defense was excellent.

Let me guess? Rockets reach tougher schedule and start to lose? Our two best players are Scola and Martin. Just think about that for a second.

What kind of coaching allows for Milsap to continue to do the same thing over and over and over and over again. It's like Adelman is not even watching the defensive side. At least act like we're trying to stop him somehow. Say what you will about JVG and about the rocket's being undersized but there's no way he'd have let that abuse just keep happening.

When Adelman took out Ish, who was doing a lot of damage to the Jazz, I thought the game was over for the Rockets. It was just an incredibly inept move by the coach and even Bill Worrell and Drexler were surprised.

I have always admired Adelman as a coach but it seems like he is starting to lose it lately. One telling moment was during a time out last night, where Scola was sitting in front of Adelman in the huddle, and he had a look like he didn't know or care what Adelman was talking about.

I don't know what the season holds for the Rockets but I am not very optimistic as I was after this game.

The dude made the same shot like 7 times in a 7 minute span. Coach get's an F.

JVG would have been on that crap. Garbage

The important thing is we didn't go 3 of 25 from the arc last night.

Blame adelman of course. Look, I like adelman, but he was never known as a strong x and o adjustment guy to start with. He's a good coach stuck with a average roster with limited players. This team isnt good enough to beat good teams on a consistent basis.

Once again, the Jazz have reloaded, but they're not of championship quality. However, they have impact players or impact player in williams. The jazz have been the best 2nd half team in the league this year. Without a healthy brooks, this team dont have a guy who can break or start a scoring run. Blaming scola is pointless because he's always been a slow footed, poor defender stuck to the paint.

This team has no discipline, anyone can shoot in anyway in the court. The coach has no control for it.

Maybe they just dont have alot of talent. Martin and scola are 2nd/3rd/4th fiddles on good teams. Right now,the rockets just have a collection of decent players, nothing special.

i was at the game.. great experience..

however.. i can not stand brad miller.. why he was in so damn long i'll never understand..

miller is this generations juwan howard, except he has a better, yet still terrible 3 point shot.. he could of had an amazing 3 point shot at the end of the game that would have been complete redemption for the rest of his misses and poor defense.. but he blew it.

what's worse is that was a called play it was pretty clear that lowry and lee set that play up to get miller open.. not sure why.. who's going to cover miller at the 3 point line the mine as well just start boxing out...

hill was much more of a presence and kinda shut down millsap in the first quarter..

pat pat shoulda played more too...

    kmart's 3 was off..

courtney and ish were extremely impressive

    terrence williams? wtf?

is it just me or is scola lucky? he puts the points up but his shot selection is PRETTY weak, at least last night, dont get me wrong he gets them in the hole SOME HOW, i guess he's just trying to draw fouls, but i just got tense every time scola was in the post last nightg
