So what? This was the most important game of the season and the jazz basically controlled it from the second quarter on. I never really felt like we had a chance to win the game, and it had nothing to do with any of the factors you mentioned. They just have more talent than we do.
Lets just let somebody else (spurs) take them out in the playoffs. I couldnt watch another playoff series between these 2 teams, Im only 22 and I want to live to see 23, dont think my heart could take it.
This was a good lost. We fought but the odds were against us. Mormons and High Altitude. At least we didn't lose with 10+pt margin.
Deron Williams carries the ball every single time he does that crossover. The Utah announcers were all over him and his crossover and I was like...he is carrying.... annoying. DD
I agree with most of this. Adelman's got an annoying philosophy of "Ill put whoever the **** i want out there whenever the **** i want to". Pisses me off.
1. We still win Jazz 2:1 2. We tried our best. 3. Jazz is really tough. We got many FS but we didnt use well. I hate Adelman. Almost every offense after his timeout is a turnover. Did everyone find this problem?
We have 2 weapons, post and three. Utah's strategy is double-team any post players and let us shoot 3. This works well that Yao and Scola Ron all struggled and hardly scored. How to break this Double-Post trick? Maybe Lowry's success moves started from the late 3rd Q can give us a clue - PnR Motion and Driving.
Jazz get so many open shots...thats just a good coach / system. I mean we half to work extremely hard for almost every shot.
The best lineup to play against Jazz: Lowry/Wafer/Artest/Landry/Yao Scola is the sixth man, Battier and Brooks should just play 10-15 minutes, just bad matchups for these two.
2.Scola wasn't effective against Utah's firt unit tonight. 4. Wafer sucked at shooting tonight, and he can't defend strong Utah players.
Accoring to Kevin Eschenfelder in the post game on FSN, it's Artest. I know right, it makes absolutely no sense.
I have to believe that he's trying to figure out how he's going to approach playoff situations, because if that's not the case, I just have no idea what he's thinking.
Don't worry about Utah. In reality, this is the last year they will be anything of a good West team. Boozer will sign for NY or Detroit and Millsap is NOT Boozer. Which is why when Boozer was hurt they were a fringe playoff team. Don't worry about this loss, one extra role player shows up today and it's a W.
Yao can barely lift his arms above his head in the 4th quarter. you can tell he was just done physically and mentally. He was just trying to draw double teams at one point. Im starting to worry that the burden of being the go to guy is something he wont be able to handle after all the punishment his body has taken the past few years.
Wafer better not have too many games like this one because White is waiting in the wings if Wafer continues with games like this one.
