Oh, firstly, thanks for kill my thread, thanks a lot.

I said that our best minutes in the game were... with Brooks, Artest and Wafer on the bench.

We started to play some offense, we started to pass the ball and... we tied the game. Then Artest came back and he failed again.

Remember because this are playoff games; what happened in this game has more value than what happen in 15 games against Wolves and Bulls.

Please Adelman, we need Lowry as starter, and give Barry some minutes of Artest/Wafer. We desesperately need basket IQ.

Stop getting on Yao for not being aggressive. He had 4...

    4

BS calls. How can he get rebounds, block shots, and do all he can if he has to worry about if the Refs are going to call some BS foul.

We need an official Knee Jerk THread after losses Clutch... would cut down on the useless clutter.. anyway If we made free throws the game would have turned out different...

and this game kind of pushes Lowry to starting over Brooks but only if Brooks continues to choke and Lowry continues to play well..

aside from that although we drop this game to a good team, we can only think of Friday and focus on the Suns....

Hopefully Wafer bounces back and plays a great game on friday..

Fck the Jazz :) Go Rockets..

I am disgusted. Tonight's display of officiating was a complete joke. I can't take the NBA seriously and commit a significant amount of my time and money to a league that suffers fools for referees. Just godawful. China needs to quietly boycott the NBA until this situation is fixed. Although I'm just a single individual, I'm very close to abandoning the NBA after tonight.

Also, although I'm a big Yao fan, Adelman needs to grow a set and sit Yao when the matchups don't make sense. The Scola / Landry combo is fantastic. Not the best defensive set, but far superior on defense to having Yao on the floor when we're facing teams with great shooting C/PF combos. It's like we're playing with a hand tied behind our back when we don't exploit our talented bench. It's incredibly frustrating to watch this.

WTF!!!!!!!!Yao suffered from okur's dirty defense. The rest of rockets just stay there and watch!!!!Hey!Yao is not a superman!!!when yao is inside, everybody should run run run!!!!!!!!!!! creating space so that yao can pass the ball out. Watch the STATS.Yao got 19 points 7 rebounds 6 assists and 5 blocks!!!!!Yao is deserved to be a real man.Maybe you will say he just got 7 rebounds. But 4 out of 7 is offensive rebounds!!!!what is battier doing!!!what is landry doing??what is wafer doing!!!!Everybody gotta contribute yourself into the game. I don't know what the coach is thinking. DW got 26 points 14 assists. The coach let aaron play such a long time. Fortunately, lowry played the 4th quarter. We need to play hard and wisely!!!The rest of rockets let me down.
anyway,it is a back to back game.

That, and the patented Rockets offensive drought in the second half. Thank goodness we had Lowry.

Oh, shut up. I'll repeat: the Rockets played four games in five nights, second night of a back to back against a well-rested team (off since Sunday) who has won 8 in a row.

What a horrible game. The refs were pretty much awful all around. First they were calling cheap fouls, then they swallowed their whistle in the paint in the 4th quarter, and then they started calling cheap fouls again to end it. Make up your damn mind.

I was happy with the way the Rockets battled, but how about next time EVERYBODY comes to play? The bench was freaking awful, and the lack of rebounding was pathetic.

    Bring on Phoenix I guess.

i also think that he receives the entry pass to late.
i remember how quick maxwell, elie, horry, etc. used to get the inlet pass to Dream.
    Nowadays, we telegraph EVERYTHING.

Yeah but I would like to see Yao just turn around and shoot over his defender at times in the 4th. He's way to passive.

Also when are we going to start posting up Artest in the block? It's getting pathetic seeing him dribble at the 3 pt line all game long.

Scola shouldn't have been substituting Yao after he fouled out.. he should've been substituting Landry with 2min to go..

I don't feel Barry's been especially effective lately.

Jazz player of the game: Rick Adelman!

I cant stand that man anymore. Ive been as understanding as its possible but darn he just sucks as a coach.

    1. Yao was sucking the life out of the team at the end of the 4th with all his fumbled rebounds and of course Adelman wouldnt take him out. Dude... Yao was gasping for air. He had no business being on the court anymore.

    2. Scola goes back in with 1:43 left?? Why the heck wasnt he subbed in before?

    3. Can we just stop it with the posting Landry crap? He is not a post up player. He is very good at getting a pass near the basket and attacking the rim but when he puts his back to the basket he isnt very good at all. And why try this at the end of the game when we know its not a reliable play? Why not post Scola instead?

    4. Why not have Wafer out there? The man can shoot and he can get himself open. I guess he is too much of a clutch shooter to have out there. He might actually hit a 3 or two but we wouldnt want that would we?

No doubt on my mind, Adelman had some money on the Jazz winning... or he is just dumb as a rock. It seems his coaching philosophy is to leave struggling players in the game for as long as it takes for them to screw the team.

The Rockets have not flourished because of him but in spite of him. Sigh... I really think we have the talent to beat anyone in a 7 game series but at this point i dont expect it to happen. Adelman will find a way to prevent it with his idiotic substitution patterns.

They have better athletes than us. Usually we can still win against more athletic teams, but the jazz are more athletic and they execute better than we do. They really do own us when completely healthy.

    I find it sickening that:
    A) Artest is the "player of the game"
    B) We missed more free throws than the amount of points we lost by!!
    C) Utah is still a state.

We got 17 FTs (4 of those 17 were in garbage time) you guys got 32.... try coming up with an excuse that makes sense. So essentially before you started intentionally fouling us it was 13 to 32 FTs in the Rockets favor.

If you noticed, the Scola/Landry pair was only fantastic against Utah's 2nd unit. They were not that effective against Okur/ Boozer.

i thought it was legit even with the replay.. so I guess I missed it.. i thought his feet were no more moving than Shane's were on his charge with Deron Williams earlier in the game..
