Rockets lost but they showed Heart! 4th Game in 5 nights and no regrets. I'm proud of the way they played!
Played hard..sad that the refs waited till the 4th quarter to realize they were setting illegal screens. Lowry seemed to be the only one matching their physical play.
did you guys see Yao's face at the end of the game? ive never seen him look that way. he was mad. he needs to remember this.
adelman is very loyal to his starters and i dont see him changing the lineup with only 20 games to go. brooks will start but lowry will finish important games.
Yao has to be more aggressive. But at the same time when he tries to get aggressive he is called for an offensive foul.
Doesn't matter, I'm so proud of our guys! Give Yao a big hands, Lowry is our starter! A curse has been placed on these refs!!!!
As much as I b****ed and whined during this game, we're no worse off than we were before this game. We played like the Rockets we've grown to know and love, and stayed in it the entire game. We just need to fix the rotation so that the best players are out there at the best times, instead of this "I'm Rick Adelman and I'll put whoever the ***** i want out there when the ***** i want to" mess.
About what I expected, though Lowry's performance was a pleasant surprise. Some rebounding would have been nice early on. As far as failing to make the comeback, it's too much to expect to come back from 12 down on a team with so many strong shooters and the studly Deron Williams at the helm. Not the best showing but nothing to cry doom and gloom about either, just a tired team losing on the toughest home court around. Get 'em next time.
Close game that comes down to bull***** calls like the Memo flop and the flop that took Yao out. It never ends. It NEVER ***************** ENDS. I have some serious a*s to kick around here.
Man, Brooks sucked bad tonight....that play when he was talking to the ref while Williams shot that three was ridiculous on his part...WTF was he thinking...?
i dont want to hear about how hard we played, etc. its a loss. a huge loss. our offense was really stale and we were lucky to get ot the ft line as many times as we did. this was a bad loss. Yao looked like a stiff in the 4th quarter, and you have to wonder if he is going to hold up with the burden that has been placed on his shoulders with the mcgrady injury.
It's pretty much impossible for him to be aggressive, only against the Jazz though. There is just something about the Jazz....
