And this year it will be Lebron vs. Kobe. A 1 vs 1 finals for the ages.

makes sense. to beat stern's screenplay, teams need to be playing really good. people against conspiracy would say look at the spurs or the pistons. yeah, this is still sports game after all. as long as it's televised, you can beat the chosen ones if you're really good at your game.

i think adelman knows this well. maybe jvg too.

I share season tickets and I don't go to 90% of the games anymore, and do not plan to renew. I am tired of the officiating in this league. It is nothing more than big time wrestling with a ball.

Games against the Utah Cheaters er Jazz are not basketball. It is a game I do not recognize but it is not basketball.

Stern can earn his cash from some other fool. The officiating is rigged and Stern had a chance last year to do something and he chose to let it all slide.

The refs put the nail in the coffin, as they always do. But there is not much we can do about that, is it?

We should just complain and call Stern after every game. It is becoming really ridiculous.

Ron Artest with another great game. They guy has been on fire since McGrady went down, simply amazing. 5/8 on 3s and 25 points. Keep it up Ron Ron.

I am happy that Adelman finally trusted Lowry who once again had a strong night. 14 points shooting over 50% in 21 minutes is really nice. I wish he played more and I wish Aaron played better. He needs to find himself quickly.

Overall, very frustrating game. It always sucks when you lose to the j*zz.

If Houston hits more of their FTs, even with all that flopping etc, they are right there at the end.

In a bowling tournament, one team isn't allowed to play with "bumpers" in the gutters while the other team isn't.

In a baseball game, the pitcher isn't allowed to scuff a baseball, and a hitter isn't allowed to cork his bat.

These tactics will give the offenders an unfair advantage over their opponent.

So can someone tell me why the Jazz are allowed to constantly go over the back for a rebound, set moving screens, and foul with impunity?

I know we will be accused of being cry babies about the fouls. But we only cry foul this loudly when it's the Jazz because this is what happens. We are not making this up. Now when we get beat by the Lakers, no one in here is saying we lost because of unfair play and officiating or the game was tipped in their favor b/c of these occurences, it's normally because Kobe was a beast that night.

Or when we get beat by the Celtics, no one here is claiming it's because they're setting moving screens, and fouling on nearly every play and going over the back.

The point is, this consensus amongst our fans about the illegal play is most strong and rampant when we play the Jazz. These strong sentiments and statements don't come after other losses, because this kind of play doesn't occur on such a scale as with Jazz. Sure we have our individual chronic floppers, a la Dirk and Manu. But these crimes are so organized and pervasive with the Jazz, they're like the Mafia.

So by allowing the Jazz to get away with this NBA, you are sending a horrible message to our youth which says, sometimes by cheating you can win. So NBA if not for our Rockets, please do it for the kids, clean this mess up!

Blame the refs for this loss.

And for global warming, the present recession, Iraq War, JVG getting fired...

    Did I miss anything?

The issue is Sloan, he has been with the j*zz for so long now that he was able to set this flopping as an official j*zz expertise.

Sloan has pretty much mastered the flopping and incoporated this as part of j*zz's game. He has flopping as a course that these players must learn and master. How often do you see them change their players thru trades? They are a team that strives on consistency and flopping.

Yao needs to do something about this next time they meet.

Maybe it's just me, but I know I'll take a loss like this over that idiotic Chicago loss or even the others games where we got blown out by scrub teams. So yes, it is a good loss - you can't win every night, especially when we were as tired as we were.

The way to handle it is for Yao to put his shoulder down and knock a jazzhole into the cheap seats on the first possession, Yao should then turn to the ref and calmly say "that is what a foul looks like".

Utah would be the Clippers if they didn't have Refs in the NBA
