Remember when Cuban sent in tapes about that moving pick thing about Yao during the playoffs. We need some1 with balls to do something on those lines about this.
Utah is one of those teams that if you do not play perfect at their home, you will lose. We lost in the rebound battle and too many bad match-ups. I hate that whole team of cheaters, including the refs. Boozer and Williams are nightmare match-ups and they always seem to have career games against us. Utah has a easy schedule of garbage teams until they play us again so they will most likely have control of their division and the third seed. I pray we do not see them in the first round of the playoffs. I HATE UTAH!!!!!
Remember AK's flop against Scola in the playoffs. Without that, we hit the tying three. Tony Brothers cost us that game.
yep...look at yaos rep in the league. nice guy. BIG nice guy. Soft, BIG nice guy. Yao gets himself ejected ONE time...dude, it'll be in the top 3 stories on every major sports channel/paper/etc. 'The gentle giant loses his cool!'. In China...dude, it'll be front page news. Then, and only then, will Stern pick up the phone and have a little talk with the refs... $$$= makes the world go 'round... A GOOD coach has already had this discussion with Yao. That said, Im not sure if Adelman has had this discussion with Yao...
Its the tough grind them out playoff style games, like this one, where you really miss a healthy Tracy McGrady and what he can bring. You could see it when Lowry came in and repeatedly attacked the basket, he got to the line 3 straight times. Artest is great, but he just can't be as effective as Tmac can be when he is on his game when it comes to penetration. Our gameplan is very predictable when it is just the Yao post up play over and over. The Jazz have many ways to make him innefective with thier defensive gameplan and flopping. Regardless of the terrible officiating, we had our shot and blew it. We lost by 7 and missed 8 FTs, theres just no excuse for that. Furthermore, Battier and Wafer missed a lot of wide open threes, and thats the difference in the game.
Good game by the Rockets. Lowry was tough going in the paint. Notes: Rebounding as a whole is a problem for the Rockets. Same thing as before: Boozer and Williams are a bad matchup for us. DWill hurts us two fold, when he goes off he gets teammates involved (assists). Rockets need a penetrating guard (ala Tmac) to maximize our potential. Its pretty evident...we must not play the Jazz in the first round.
Posting Artest up basically wont be any different than him dribbling all the way.... I would rather to have Scola posting up than him, who will be a deadly weapon when catch-and-shoot
Exactly. Jazz fans think 'Success' is getting past the first round. Fact is, the last two times the Jazz played a powerhouse team in the playoffs...they were WIPED OUT and EMBARRASSED. Both by the Spurs and Lakers and all that hacking and flopping is not going to fly. Sure there may be some bad games and horrible calls, but the playoff refs are not going to let you hack guys every time and think you're going to get away with it. As much as the Jazz fans like to see us whine and complain about the refs. I love to see when they are eliminated their annual excuse that the NBA doesn't want Utah to win a championship.
next time some mofo flops Yao needs to fall down on top of him. All 300+lbs It won't be obvious since we all know that Yao loses his balance easily and falls alot. This will end future flopping. Anyone defending Yao will have to think twice about flopping. It is really worth it? Who wants to be crushed by Yao??
Actually, this is a good idea. Everytime a player flops on his post up, Yao should fall with them. Hard on Yao also but damn, if the Refs are not going to penalize opponents then someone has.
I dont like to see AB as our start Pg,he is inconsistent, and he cant pass the ball well,I'd like to see Lowry as a start and finish the game!
Mehmet Okur needs a few shots to the man region for the way he plays defense. The flop he pulled to get Yao's 4th foul was pathetic. Also it's quite hard to rebound the ball when your opponents are allowed to crash over your back without retribution. And the brewer "charge" on Yao was a call that needs to be eliminated from the game. Bright spots: Yao's attitude, scola, lowry and artest. I'm not worrying about brooks, as I knew this would be a tough matchup for him, and a good one for lowry. They both should see plenty of minutes anyway.
Every post game loss thread is the same around here, blame the refs. How many more ft's did the rox shoot over the jazz? Why did Boozer out reabound the whole team in the first half? Where was #31 the whole game? It sad and ridiculous . The rox don't matchup well with this team just like the sonics of the 90's. Duck them in the playoffs and they'll be ok. Otherwise, its 1 and done again. I know the truth hurts. BTW, williams abused Lowry also. He always abuse Paul too. He's just a bad man!
I agree. Yao should stomp them in the head or chest. Okur would never flop again after waking up from a coma or a cracked sternum.
After reading your points, question is have you watched the game? Especially 4th Q? 1. Yao was the only matchup we have advantage matching with dirty Jazz's D 2. 3. I basically agree. 4. If you have seen how Rafer's play this game, you definitely wont gamble your luck on his bone-headed decision on the court, he was not on his pace when against Jazz-style D. Wafer is simply a more atheletic version of luther Head...
Utah...Mormons...Floppers.... - never won/never will win a champsionship... Houston Rockets - Back2Back Champsionships!!! You will never win cause you cheat. You can cheat in one game, but when you play best out of 7, you cant cheat. Jerry Sloan, you will never win a title in your life. Your players are cheap, and you coach them to be professional cheaters. Utah Sucks and Carlos Boozer can smell the moon with that nose!
Dont we all wish we could just be Yao for just a couple posessions and lay down the line. Imagine what you would do to these floppers. OOPS my bad for accidentally falling on u and sticking out my elbow which happened to crack a couple of ur ribs.
