    They take advantage of that.

I'm telling you, Sloan tells his players to play as physical as they can and don't worry about fouling.

NBA Refs are not going to call fouls on every play, it makes the game boring quite frankly.

But trust me, in the playoffs there will be 2 or 3 games where the Jazz will be called for all their fouls and their flopping will not be rewarded. It all comes back in the end.

Indeed, he needs to bring all the offensive weapon he had out on the court, he used to be a versatile offensive player with great heart and leadership. I dont know why he is so blunted and live only with his def and 3s...

The Chinese shoes he is wearing made his move slower?

sounds weird...but i agree with what i think a bunch of you are hinting at.

YAO needs to purposely get himself ejected the next time he gets screwed over repeatedly in a game. Its the only way that the entire league, even apathetic pedestrian fans and journalists, will be forced to address the issue with Yao and the unfair calls.
It will also force Stern to act, whether he wants to or not...for both NBA rule and NBA intl. merch and $$$$ reasons.

And strangely, i think it gets him more respect from coaches and players around the league.
He needs to be ejected from a game.

With planning and a bit of drama, he can make a point.

im starting to feel the same way brother. it was really weird officiating all night long, and it seemed like it was almost set up to make it semi close before the end, but let the jazz close it out. it just had a strange feel to it, as did many road games have this year.

Even Bull talked about this during the broadcast. I just wish that FS-Houston and the Rockets would get the video assembled about this and just send it in to the league. What do they have to lose??? The last foul on Yao where Brewer flopped, C'mon refs, are you blind???

    Go Rockets!!!

I agree. Yao is a respected ambassador of the game. if he just gets p!ssed off and starts speaking out about the officiating, it will inspire change.

For those of us that can remember the UTAH are to Yao as Seattle was to Dream. We will get over the hump this year in the playoffs, however, we need Shane to get his shot on. The more I wish AB consistency the more he disappears, yes it may be time to start Lowry

Hard fought game, the Rockets showed more energy than I am accustomed seeing from them in Utah. Bottomline, as always, the Jazz have more players that can score. I am not so sure they are still tougher or bigger, I think the Rockets have caught up a bit. Still don't want to see them in the playoffs. Deron Williams is near unguardable. Props to Yao after a back to back, he was sucking air but still played aggressively. The Jazz knock the ball out of his hands more than any other team. I respect giving it your all, though. Lowery continues to impress me.

its a sad day when you can just run in front of someone who doesnt even have the ball and then just fall down and its a turnover. is that basketball?

    It's not.

The Jazz got away with that BS because they had no better defense for what we currently were doing.

Yao was about to Post up, draw the double, and Artest was going to get some space for the three...Artest was going to win that game ;)

Lowry didn't want to lose it, that's for sure.

Sweet...Yao commented on the disparity in the fouls that aren't called for him but against him. Now watch that gangsta David Stern have him fined for telling the truth.

Also those refs were ludacris. Those outrageous calls shift the momentum in a close game. I hate when what should happen doesn't happen. Well I take solace in knowing that the Jazz are regular season all-stars but playoff flameouts and in the playoffs their hijinks and shenanigins will be more closely scrutinized by a more competent trio of refs(unlike the three stooges from tonight) and won't fly in that environment, which will ultimately level the playing field between them and their opponent and then they will be eliminated.

With all that said, their one silver lining is Deron, he doesn't play dirty and is clutch.

I know - that's why jazz never did win and never will win a championship as long as Sloan is their head coach.

Wow, terrible loss. The officiating was so bad, I sent an e-mail to the league.

The NBA is not getting any more money out of me after that. I've got better places to spend my entertainment dollars.
