Several players made mistakes or couldn't come through for us tonight.

It's not just on Ariza or Adelman or anybody else.

We are going to lose other games we should have won this season. It happens to the best of teams so it will certainly happen to us.

Okafor is a bad matchup for Landry. He has the length, strength, athleticism and foot speed to bother Landry enough. That showed in last NO game as well.

This was like watching the Texans invent a way to lose - you lead the whole *ucking game just to let them go on a 10-0 run and choke.

Sadly, we reinforced it this season with his contract, his minutes, and our expectations...

Unless this is some 1st year jitters, Ariza is clearly not demonstrating or proving why he should be getting the minutes he is. How our team is winning (tonite notwithstanding) with Ariza shooting 14, 15, 16... FGAs per game at sub 40% makes, is BEYOND ME.

    :(

I do wonder why Adelman took Lowry out late in the game.

Other than Landry, Lowry is our best 4th quarter guy. Keeping him in the game may have made the difference.

Horrible ending. Shows what we really lack, and what the Hornets don't....someone to give the ball to who can get something at the end of the game. Paul ran the last minute to perfection, while we struggled to even get shots up.

Anybody watching the New Orleans station on League Pass see the part where the guy said, "Listen to the house after he made that shot!" and they played the view of the arena during the dagger and their hardware malfunctioned and no sound came out so it was silent? I lmaoed!

Adelman had the right thought of not going back to carl landry in the 4th quater, Hornets already scouted the Houston Rockets that Adelman loves to go to Landry in the 4th quater. Credit the New Orlean Hornets, they were the better team tonight, they executed well down the 4th quater, Houston just made too many minor mistakes. Good thing we still have that Tmac contract we can trade. Houston is in the best position they've ever been lets thank Daryl Morey For been an awesome General Manager. Houston is just a couple of moves from winning more than 1 NBA championship within the next 3 seasons. IN MOREY I BELIEVE!

Lowry made a couple bad plays in a row at that moment. Fought for a rebound with teammates and eventually out of bounds, A bad foul on CP3, an air ball at the end of shot clock.

The rotation was not moving smooth at all this game... Alot was due to the 4 fouls on Landry, but Okafor was also giving him some trouble in the paint.

Also, Ariza had the same amount of TO's as the ENTIRE HORNETS TEAM! He does not need the ball down the stretch. He doesn't even need to be close to the ball down the stretch unless he is on defense. I would of rather seen more JT than Ariza.

I am assuming you are from china, a shutup is not a name, but a verb. I am not saying you are an idiot, I just want to correct you for future purposes.

    You're probably right.

My problem is that I had to watch it online tonight, and saw only maybe half of the game total at most - and every time it worked fine, Ariza was turning over or missing a shot. I did see a nice shot, and one of the two FT's in the first half from him, to be fair.

I did note also that DA didn't play particularly well this evening. He did have one or two nice shots, but seemed to miss a few that I thought he should have made. His D wasn't so hot either, at times. Hopefully that consistency thing will work it's way out and he'll be a more reliable solid player.

Landy seemed off this evening, never seemed to quite get his stride (from what little I was actually able to view him). I guess everyone's entitled to a night off...it's just too bad that no one else was really able to step up like we're used to seeing.

Be nice to see CBud back, and see what he can bring to the game.

yup, lowry was bad for that stretch, but little did Adelman know Ariza would be worse
