our crappy free throw shooting is one thing that hasn't changed before or after the streak. we really need help here.

ok so most premier players average mid to high 30's in minutes per game. in the last 6 games TMac has averaged 43.something. Those few extra minutes make a difference. And don't forget, he's sensitive.

Some people's logic is really amusing in here.... what does the pressure of a 22 game win streak have to do with being tired.... especially when you are Mcgrady and are not considered one of the hustle players on your team... you dont gaurd the best player on the team... infact in half the games during the damn winning streak, mcgrady got to sit out early because they were blowing out teams.... infact i can make a case that mcgrady exerted less energy during the winning streak....

I'm curious how the fatigue argument holds water considering every other NBA team has to play basketball games too.

The Celtics didn't seem to have a problem rolling McGrady after beating San Antonio the night before.

Again, the lead was mainly due to Hornets not making their shots or good d by Rockets, not because of Rockets having any good offense. Fatigue does play a role in it, but teams adjustment to Rockets offense can't be ignoreed either.

No he's simply indicating that the Rox are the only team that has won 22 games in a row in 30 some odd years and that takes a toll. The pressure to perform to try and set that mark.

Every team in the top 5 went on a major slump after a streak like that...look it up.

THANK YOU!!! Every team in the league plays the same amount of minutes... they all exert about the same amount of energy...

It's just painful. I have worries when we traded Bonzi to them and tonight
he just killed us and showed why it is a big mistake to trade him to a division rival. Bobby Jackson is good and I am pleased to have him but not at the expense of Bonzi. Bonzi contribution made a huge difference in tonight game when compared to our previous encounters with NOH earlier this year.

That one hurt. Thankfully, large amounts of beer have helped numb the pain.

Whatever the lead was due to,We still could have open up this game up .Defensively we usually put the hammer on teams when we are up,We had no freakin legs,We ran out of gas,PERIOD,POINT,BLANK.

Don't know why you sound so surprised. The IQ of this board generally drops by about a 100 points after a loss. Seems most bandwagoners only come out after losses.

I don't know what many of you guys are expecting. We pretty much only have 2 players on this team who can consistently create shots for themselves and with one of them being rafer, its not going to look pretty. The streak has spoiled a lot of the fans here, who expect us to keep racking up the wins every night with a NBDL roster.

Ummmm, the Celtics, if you didn't notice by the past two performances and well generally the overall performance the whole season, ARE THE BEST TEAM IN BASKETBALL!

Sorry, but people please make sense when you are trying to justify your pesimism.

Every team hasn't won 22 games in row either. You are clearly ignoring the facts and you sound like a bandwagon fan.

we could just as easily say that we wouldn't have won the Lakers game without B. Jackson. Bonzi got the best of us tonight, but I'm not sure we would have won anyway. NO had already started pulling away, and we couldn't even make a layup. The Bonzi argument is fair enough, but I don't really agree with it. He wouldn't even get in shape to play for us the year before.....just don't trust someone like that.

Actually it's not a bad thing consider Yao is out of the season. How Bonzi played is not important, Rockets isn't not going to win Championship without Yao anyway. Next year Jackson's expiring contract could be a trade bait, and Rockets can't afford to sign Bonzi big contract, so the currrent situation will be better at that time.

The knee jerk reaction that we are witnessing now is the reason why I always try to stay away from the board after a loss. It's just like adding salt to a wound.

See you guys after our next win. Go Rockets!

Man, I'm not surprised, but that doesn't mean I have to like it.

Ok, but i tell you, this is exactly the same way how She-mac lost 18 consecutive games in Orlando........ He is not that kinda guy who can come back strong........ When pressure come, she quit at most time....
