People are quick to attack somebody when they criticize Battier (see the 2 posts above). People are also still using this injury as an excuse for his poor play. How long ago did he have surgery? He had some inflammation at the beginning of the season - that was it. Next thing people will do is say how hard Battier plays, while this might be true, you're supposed to play hard. It reminds me of that Chris Rock special where he mocks somebody for saying "I take care of my kids." Rock's response is "that you're supposed to take care of your kids you low expectation having mf'er!" Is this how low the expectations have gotten here that as long as a player tries hard we shouldn't criticize him?
