Martin disappears in the fourth because he takes too many jumpers in the fourth instead of taking it strong to the basket.
He FAILS on defense in every single game dude. Scola is usleless without Yao and Martin is useless without an infiorm Battier. Its been killing me all season long. For every 1 point they score, the opposition socres 2 on them. USELESS!!!!
I think its getting to the point of wiring up the detonator for this team. This team has several talented players but they just don't add up to being a consistent winning team no matter what combination is used. I hope the trading Gods smile on the Rockets before the deadline.
the bench had good momentum at the end of the third with all the strips and fast break points. and the adelman does what he always does. takes out the hot players on a roll to put the old slow starters back in. scola, hayes and especially battier have not won games for us. i blame the poor substitutions
Its not all on the players, time and time again its proven that RA hasnt developed any "go-to" plays at the end of games. All our crucial possessions end up being one-on-one contested jump shots, just like lowry's at the end of regulation. RA's got to learn to come up with plays he can rely on.
That was my thinking in the last Boston game, but they won. So I reconsider. Now, I'm reconsidering the reconsideration
Why are you guys so surprised about Adelman? He has ALWAYS been clueless about subs, timeouts, and matchups.
Lowry was having a career night, and RA wanted to ride the hot hand to victory. I usually rip Adelman, but I think it was the right call considering Martin struggles to create his own shot/take his man off the bounce, and Brooks was ice cold on the bench. Lowry's step-back is much improved, and he's great at attacking the basket and creating contact. Frankly, I would have liked Lowry to bull his way in to the paint and try to get to the line, or even kick the ball back out to Scola or Martin.
