Over-reaction. He just needs Morey to get in his face about his in-game decisions. He can still be a very good coach.

I am not even mad.....0-4 just lowers my expectations for the season.

We will bounce back @ least i don't have to worry about championship aspirations. Well not until Rockets go on a 22 Win streak.

@ the end of the day, we fans are just going have to trust what the Rockets management does.

I am done overreacting or worrying why Player A isn't performing.

I hope the whole team proves us wrong during the rest of the season but if we happen to lose the next 10 games, so be it. We need to draft a superstar anyway.

Great post. I'd rep you if I didn't have to spread it around first.

NO right now is built around CP3 the same way PHX before was built around Nash. Aside from Bellineli nobody else on that team can create their own shot. West is overrated, and feeds on CP3 just like Amare. You cover those guys and let CP3 wear himself out shouldering the entire offensive load.

Damn if Clippers win tonight the Rockets will be the only Western Conference team without a W, that is just not right.

we need to slow the tempo down in the fourth, so teams do not score 40 pts on us in the 4th. In addition to this idea, we need better transition defense. I remember back then when our guys were always back stopping easy buckets in transition. This problem needs to be solved in defense ONLY. Finally i get some steam out.

Battier is one OF the main problems. His defense is not the best anymore, he can't score, rebound, assist, can't even knock down open shots anymore. No one on the other team has to pay defense on him, in which case guys get to roam, double, cause turnovers. BUT, when hes not on the floor the guys still have to play better then this.

Jordan Hill looked great. He set several screens that resulted in scores, hustled, and provided some much needed shot blocking. With Yao and Brad Miller previously getting all the playing time, you forget that some centers actually have athleticism!

I was relieved to see Jordan come back in at the end of the fourth. Yao let a pass go under his legs and gave up a defense rebound to a guy 8 inches shorter than him that resulted in a 3 from Chris Paul that completely killed our momentum.

Hope Jordan keeps getting significant playing time

ok correct me if im wrong, i know morey is a numbers guy. but numbers dont always calculate HEART and DESIRE to win!.....U CANT PUT A STAT ON THAT! rite now we have a bunch of guys not all, (scola, chuck) that look good on paper. but i see they lack heart (martin brooks)! rockets lost a lot of that toughness and go get it attitude when landry was traded he wa our closer! U DONT MAKE A CHAMPIONSHIP TEAM WITH A BUNCH 2 ROUNDERS WHICH ARE GOOD BUT DONT CUT IT! LAKERS HAVE THE DEEPEST PAYROLL which tells me that spending is good if u get 2 rings from it!!!! morey has god status in this site ,but 4 me he is just the lebron james of GMs.

    Is this sarcasm?

    Scola was 12-16 shooting.

This squad has good players, but they just aren't good together. Brooks and Martin are both fine offensive players, but together they are a defensive liability. Scola can score and rebound, but his one-on-one and help defense is awful. Yao doesn't have his legs, wind and timing back and likely will not until much later in the season. Battier is getting close to the end of a solid career, and it is showing.

The Rockets cannot hide Scola, Martin, and Brooks on defense all at the same time. Without them on the floor, they cannot score. Too many one-dimensional players equals a very long season.

Recommendation: package any 2 of Brooks, Martin, or Scola for an upgrade at one of the 2 positions traded.

True defensive liabilities: Brooks, Martin, Scola, Budinger, Miller, Taylor.

When will RA ever learn AB can't guard CP3? That's why we have a deep bench, for God's sake! Use KL or CL on CP3.

Now RA's gonna moan we did talk about CP3 at the end of the game etc etc when he should be the one responsible for running the team.
