That was probably the worst game of the season...the Rockets ain't the good old 04-05 rockets no more...

Now wait a minute, you're saying that we're as bad as a team that is 4-47? 4-47! After last night, we're 27-24. The Nets will not see 24 wins all season. Yes, it was a terrible game, but let's not get crazy with knee-jerk reactions like yours

I think he was illuminating the fact that whether you grab the 16th seed (Probably Nets) or the 9th seed (Probably Rockets); you are not making the playoffs.

Being the best of the worst is little consolation in professional sports.

Is anyone else irate that Scola let Wade dunk on him in a blowout?!

Do you think Charles Barkely, Hakeem Olajuwon or Patrick Ewing would’ve let that happen? Or what about Kevin Garnett or Anderson Varejao? The thing is, Scola should’ve ran directly at Wade and fouled him 20-feet from the basket but he didn’t do that. So once he realized that Wade was going to put him on a poster in a blowout, he should have put his shoulder into Wade’s chest and sent his b**** ass into the stands.

and give the guy an 'and 1' play? and probably even get scola injured in the process? that was a full steam dunk. if youre gonna contest that, you better be sure youre up for it.

which is also why i never put too much weight on the jamario moon dunk on tmac last season. it was a break away dunk. if you contest that, someone's gonna get hurt. and tmac was on one leg already.

I just turned off the TV set and couldn't watched no more that game. In that game, we seemed no better than New Jersey Nets, no energy and effort, just sleepwalking-like movement on the court.

the Nets? the Rockets? Maybe we're not so different after all. The pot shouldn't call the kettle black if we're not going to make the playoffs.

Stupid question, but since Landry started, is he still eligible for the 6th man award? He deserves it, plus I would like to see at least one of the Rockets get some appreciation from the NBA. Game wise, missed Kyle, it would have been nice to even see him on the bench cheering the team on and giving advice to the guys. Hope he can play soon

I believe a player is eligible if he started fewer than half of the games he appeared in. I'm not 100% sure on that though.

Just when you think you have all the answers, Rick Adelman changes the question. I want to like the guy, then you watch him make ridiculous coaching decisions that cost The Rockets the game.

Against Miami, The Hayes/Scola/Landry unit was working. Miami couldn't get a rebound and it was difficult to drive through all that length. They took a lot of jumpshots. It was working UNTIL he yanked Chuck Hayes at his usual 4 minutes to go in the 1rst quarter, which he started doing months ago. Adelman then sat there while Miami tore The Rockets up. Put two and two together and you see why The Rockets are out of the playoffs. Chuckwagon anchors the defense.

And the guy is supposedly a "Players Coach?" My ass. Chuck had 9 friggin' rebounds in the 1rst quarter, which was more than Miami (with O'Neal mind you) combined and was 2-2 from the field. Yet he yanks him and doesn't play him until the 2nd half?

That and his LOVE for David Andersen. In no way, shape, or form should he be out there if he can't make a shot. He is horrible on the defensive end and not really a great rebounder. I would have subbed Dorsey in for Chuck Hayes instead of Andersen at least.
