Yeah. The rockets should have played a perfect game to beat one of the best teams in the league. They didn't, and you can't really expect them to do it:

    1. RA not playing Clee and Lowry enough, keeping Kmart against dwade

    2. Clee missing a ton of gimmee shots.

    3. Kmart missing fts he makes like 90+% of the time.

Of course Dwade getting phantom calls didn't hurt either ;) Good thing LBJ or it would have gotten ugly.

Overall great game though. If we played like this we would be battling for the top spot in the West right now.

of course martin isn't on the level of Wade or Bron....but he is OUR superstar.

the guy played awful tonight and still manage 21 pts and 4 (great) steals.

there are too many haters on this dam site. let's get over it, stop trying to think of ways to get rid of our guys like martin, bud, brooks....and except them for being good players. i mean k-mart is 10th in the league in scoring and AB is the reigning MIP in da league. get a grip people.

let's not try and throw martin to the street after a poor game against the best team in the league in which he fought valiantly.

if the ROX play like they did tonight, I think they can still win 6 or 7 out of the next 9 games to get past this hellacious stretch they are beginning.

the heat got more fouls called for them and shot less free throws (even when the rockets were intentionally fouling them at the end) and people want to the blame the refs?

Rick Adelman talking his way into a fine from Stern by criticizing the officals right now for their change of the wade foul into a flagrant.

Rockets are gonna be screwed even moreso by the refs because of this.

Watched the game on the Miami station. The angle they showed in slo-mo clearly showed AB slapping Wade across the face. It was clearly a Flagrant 1. All of this whining about Wade getting calls reminds of all the crybabies up here in Dallas in 2006 when Wade torched the Mavs in the NBA Finals.

Every Rocket that played, played hard I thought . Some downright bad calls and some great shooting beat our team tonight. Other wise really good job by ALL.

P.S. HEY MOREY!Boy we sure could use a shotblocker! ASAP!

Quit whining. We didn't lose this game due to the refs. We lost because of defense. We actually did a good job keeping LeBron and Bosh out of the paint, but Wade was in rare form getting to the rim. The only outside shot I remember him making was the rim-loving 3-ball. Otherwise, it was all on drives and curls.
On offense, we played well when we were aggressive. We had a lull when we couldn't get anything going to the rim and were missing some jumpers. That combined with the free throw misses late sealed our fate.
Great effort though. I was proud of the team.

Why even have refs when wade is playing? Just let him call his own fouls.

In the end, there was a lack of focus on our guys, you have to hit your freebies.

Brooks is what? 5'9 150lbs? Wade is like 220lbs... lol It should have been a delay of game warning on Wade. That punk was not even hurt but decided to do the poor me dance on the floor. Flagrant this motha****er...

That's why I don't understand ppl wanting Hill to start at center. He doesn't rotate and still looks lost on defense.

Its not just about total calls, those calls always came at the wrong time, destroys our momentum and helps their momentum.

I wouldn't say that but it appeared to me that LeBron clearly took the night off.

Rockets got 40 FTs tonight to 37 by the Heat, and this includes the intentional fouls the Rockets committed to stop the clock at the end of the game. Maybe the Rockets should have shot 50 FTs, but they did get some calls.

Overall, good game. Won the rebounding battle, won the turnover battle, won the FT attempts battle. Coudn't stop D. Wade from driving to the basket, got a bit unlucky on some highly makable shots, played poor FT defense by letting Miami shoot 93% from the line :). Luck was not on the Rockets side tonight. Oh well. The guys just gotta keep up the energy level and they'll win more of these games than they lose in the long run.

Exactly. If it wasn't for that flagrant one, we would have won.

Wade had the ball in all these possessions, not much Lebron can do to rack up stats when Wade has the ball.
