you guys keep blaming our defense for the lose but what can you do? their defense was not so great tonight either. the heat have been keeping theri opponents below 100 ppg on their streak. How many points did we drop on them tonight? you cant help them from going off, they are stars, they are clutch, what we did tonight was great for what team we have. So for all those blaming defense for losing us this game please we played good enough defense, but you cant help if Dwade or lebron goes off. We did what we did tonight and im proud to call myself a rocket fan because we play with what we have and with determination, something we have been lacking this season.

A center and small forward who aren't offensive liabilities would be soooooooo nice. Chuck is great and he did score some points but they didn't respect him one bit and Shane was an offensive no-show again tonight...he NEEDS to score.

He's sitting on the bench, and could also probably mitigate a lot of D-Wade's drives.

    His name is Terrance Williams.

Also consider that when the game first started, Miami had no answer for the Rockets pick-n-roll. But when Brooks came in after Lowry go into foul trouble, this simply vanished. In the 4th period when the Rockets made that last run, there was no ball movement or motion at all on the offense when Brooks was running the point. Not bashing AB but this was to me a key reason why they couldn't get the key buckets that would have put them over the hump.

Joel Blank, Rockets radio guy, said he looked VERY impressive in practice. We know he can play defense, just needs to get the offense down so hopefully Friday he will get his shot.

January is gonna be a tough month for some of you. Some of you cant take close losses and when someone says the refs were part of it or they are missing a superstar Morey should trade for? Some of you seem to completely meltdown over it. Good luck with that. Some of it will be true and some will cry over it. Hope Morey does make his trade of Yao or some parts to get a better player here unless he has some other plan. Cause January will be tough on the Rockets. I expect alot of those teams with Superstars are gonna have games play out like this against us. One play and one call will be the difference and one superstar or one added upgrade will have been the difference for the Rockets. Hope it goes better but I expect much of the same close games.

I thought that's why we got C.Lee because he can also play defense????

We in trouble if we are basing our defense on a 2nd year player who can't even play for NJ Nets.

I don't think the media is allowed to watch practice, I wonder if it was something that he got from one of the coaches?

This game was a good measuring stick for us, hopefully we have seen the resurgence of Budinger, he needs to build on last year when he played to his strengths and wore more make up than Flip Saunders on his weaknesses.

There were lulls sure, but they scored enough. When your defense allows 58% shooting you will lose even without lulls. We shot 43% but we also got to the line 40 times. That counts as offense too. The no show Martin dropped 21 on the best defense in the league, on his normal fg%. And got to the line 10 times. If he hit his normal ft% he would have had 25 points. The Heat had no answers for him. Unless you want to credit them for FT defense.

Am I the only other one that saw this too? Ironic that our supposed closer and lone shot creator was the one stagnating the offense for a 5 minute stretch as the Heat took the lead.

BTW individually this was the best game he has looked yet. Looks like he is getting over the injury.

Not sure, but during his segment on 610 that is what he said. He sounded like he saw it first hand, however.

Come on now, only reason he wasn't playing for the Nets was his attitude. Guy is VERY talented and everyone knows it. He isn't the savior but potentially a huge help.
