Seriously people, watch the game for god's sake. Landry made a good play by going to contest the shot. Unfortunately, Josh Smith made a great play to make the putback dunk.
Look at it this way. We played the best team in the East, who had advantages of size, length, hops, and shooting. To come out with a 2 pt loss isn't something to get mad about.
Lowry was an absolute freaking beast today. Played A LOT better than brooks who i'm dissapointed with atm. I like his hustle and perseverance.
just a lucky bounce, to prob the only guy who wasn't boxed out, who happens to have freakish athleticism, who made a great play, can't be mad at that...
No, that was Hayes. And when the shot went up he kinda got caught watching instead of rotating into the lane to box out smith. They just showed the replay like a billion gut-wrenching times on NBA TV...
I know they outhustled the Hawks OVERALL in the game tonight...so credit goes to the Rockets....but whats the point of hustling when you don't hustle and make the key play when it counts the most?? That game was lost on a fundamental box out...grrr
Look on the bright side. The Hawks ARE the hottest team in the NBA right now. They are perfect at home. WE have 40 million dollars worth of talent not in our lineup, and the hawks only managed to edge past us even though they were playing at home. As far as I'm concerned, I couldn't be any happier. My team nearly beat the best team in NBA despite the lack of talent.
Oh man, can't believe that we lost that way! First we lead 88-82, then get a 4-20 run to trail 92-102, then we fight back and tie it and then that!!!! THAT SUCKS!!!!!
Agree and I think these types of games will go our way when we get more experience and a center,,,lol
what a heart breaker, this one reminded me of Roy's buzzer beater...I just cant believe that ****, what way to lose, we out hussled them man, ****!
What the hell are you talking about? Get out of here with this type of crap. I love the NBA and this was a tough way to lose but it was a damn good athletic, and clean play by Josh Smith.
