hayes is a better defender than scola especially at contesting little guards, which he did to bibby. it was just a lucky bounce for the hawks.

Played hard against a tough opponent and came up short, nothing to feel bad imo.

Replay looked clean. Normally I would be upset.

Great fight to nearly win it.

FYI, Landry came out to help doubleteam Bibby out on the perimeter on that last play.

    what are you talking about?

We lost with dignity and i don't know how it was even close.

    Fair play by Josh Smith.

I don't know how a team can take these many tough losses.

    It hurts.

They out hustled the Hawks all night...Smith is a freak and no box out hurt, more about execution then hustle.

Refs were not call the fouls for us tonight & RA makes the dumbest moves with 2 or 3 min in the 3rd even when we have the lead guess he is still experimenting with this team. Do not experiment when we have the lead if he does we will lose every time

Battier was boxing out Marvin Williams. Just bad luck, basically. Pretty sure Hayes had Smith initially, but he came out to help on the Bibby jumper. Can't blame him, either -- the other team getting an offensive rebound isn't exactly what you think about when they have five seconds and the ball. Usually in that situation a team will shoot at the buzzer, but with the Rockets having no timeout to extend the ball, I'm guessing they went early so they'd have time to take a shot on the offensive glass. It worked, props to them.

By the way, that wasn't close to offensive goaltending. Ball was clearly off. They just made a good play.

All those offensive-rebound we got meant nothing. Smith's last offensive rebound put back was the ****. Sigh, heartbreaking loss

Josh Smith should have been tossed earlier for screaming at the refs twice in the game.
