Have you seen McGrady playing...I dunno, during his career? Unless you want to argue with me that Luther Head is better then Tracy McGrady...
So many of you are completely missing the point. With Tracy, we get blown out. Without Tracy, it's close.
I don't think so. Last night, we played with no heart with 2 all-star players and Ron and we were routed by a scrub team in Toronto. Tonight, without Ron and TMac, the game was still tied up to the last 1.4 seconds. That's the difference. I would say let those playing with heart have more playing time and we'll see a reformed Rox team winning games.
Of course he should, but has Yao (and T-mac) ever handled pressure and clutch situations well?...You have to coach to the player's strengths, and address or at least dampen their weaknesses. And when Yao has been sitting on the bench that long, sending him in and expecting him to play smoothly is quite a stretch...especially since Yao is a huge man and not that flexible or athletic. That's why Adelman should not expect Yao to go in their and dominate with 3 minutes left in the game. Sub Yao in earlier so he can get into the groove.
this is what I am hoping for the problem for me is this games like this DO BUILD CHARACTER [I would still have the W] The guys learn each other. .. get some chemisty so the next game they are better mor cohesive well THAT AIN'T GONNA HAPPEN because what's his name will be there next game but won't be there the one after that . . .. How do they learn to win WITH OR WITHOUT WHat's his name????? Rocket River
i dont know but putting this game aside the tmac "issue" needs to be addressed the fans have had enough
not a boneheaded drive at all. I'd like him to do that if he has a lane to the bucket like that. He finishes that play a decent amount--it wasn't a floater or anything... he just used his body to create contact but didn't expect it to be that much contact without a whistle..
So, the Rockets are playing one of the top young teams in the league without three out of their four best players on the back end of consecutive nights and lose on a last second shot by Mike Bibby...I'll take it. At least they showed some heart.
Come on Tracy, they didn't follow instructions,He was clearly upset they didn't listen,The players blew the defensive assignment. Bottomline we played hard and could have won the game. This type of effort we keep the team straight without Tracy trying to sink the ship.
Hmm... It seems like changing the number on his jersey and getting a mohawk worked for T-Mac. Nice effort out there, Tracy!
like bullard said, we can take this game and use it to build on. 60% shooting is hard to overcome when they just make it. as far as ball movement goes, i'm definitely giving it two thumbs up. brooks is finally finding his groove again which is another plus. i'm not even looking at rafer's mistakes in the end, the fact is...our point spread was awesome and the guys who played showed that houston actually may have a nut sack. and of course luther was luther lol
