    1) Great game because the Rockets played with effort. If the Rockets lost like this all the time I would not mind at all.

    2) Wafer should be the primary backup SG. This is undisputable. A SG's role is to make his shots, and Wafer does this extremely well.

    3) Do not substitute Yao into the friggin game with 3:30 left. If you wanna sub him in, do it around the 5 or 6 minute mark when each posession is not as crucial yet. Subbing Yao in with so little time left adds immense pressure to him, and in a close game that's recipe for disaster.

I agree that Wafer is better than TMAC but he is still a scrub. Stop overrating him.

    Two things:
    1. Head should never play that many minutes.
    2. Landry should be on the court in final minutes.

Yao only took one shot in 2nd half.

Heart and effort forget the L, I'd rather go down swinging than run away and quit.

This game reminded me of the time we lost to the Nuggets in 2 overtimes last year. We were without Tracy and after that game....we just got a lot better

well every loss hurts but i must say i have faith that this team will get it together.

just looking at how they played today undermanned shows we have good depth. the hawks were shooting lights out and we stopped them several times in a row at the end of the game until the last possession. it was a good effort.

Im def not a *** but some of you quick to blame idiots need to be realistic...yes Yao makes some costly mistakes and of course we all think of the ones late in the game but how many games would we even be competing in the 4th quarter if Yao didnt provide his averages? The problem isnt on one guy or one play...

I love the heart but I hate the L.

Unlike most on the board I'm very willing to have T-Mac comeback and be the player to help us closeout games if he is willing to be the player he can be.

However, 60% is horrible defense. We need to be able to perform offensively while shutting down defensively.

    Sometimes, I do miss JVG.

This game hopefully can catapult the team into finding themselves much like the Denver heartbreaker in Colorado was last year.

I loved how everyone played ... with so much passion. I can't wait until Deke is able to help off the bench. The Hawks had too many easy shots in the lane when Yao was resting.
