Would you all rather have Ron and TMac sit out the Sixers game or the Celtics game?

I agree, I think the team could build on this, trade Grady for some young players, get him out of here.

    huh

His nuts out of my mouth? yeah ok there, elementary school called, they want you back.

I guess we'll have to agree to disagree, seeing as how your hate has clouded the fact that despite some bad games he still has SOMETHING to offer the team. If you want to ignore that and say, out of spite or stupidity or whatever it is, that you would rather give the team up to a player that was just recently signed as a training camp walk-in and has zero experience starting games or Luther Head, that's fine, it's just irrational. McGrady may never be a great player anymore but to say that every game from now on he will have a negative impact...I strongly doubt it.

Landlord Landry and Northside Storm have probably summed up my opinions on this game

for a chance for yao to step up to show it's his team, he failed again. yao played like a secondary player tonight. if he wants the organization to be able to deal with tracy on a tougher basis, yao has to show he can take over the team and be the main guy. apparently he can't.

the team played harder tonight (tracy has a lot of thinking to do and get his head straight real soon). we're 21-14 and it's not getting any better. there must be a sense of urgency.

but we still didn't show any toughness. how the hell do you let a team shoot 60%? that meant we played ZERO defense. we didn't push anybody around. we didn't make it hard for the hawks ONE SINGLE BIT.

the team's problem is beyond tracy. this team right now is not trying hard enough to play at a championship level.

HOW THE HELL DO YOU LET A TEAM SHOOT 60% ON A BACK-TO-BACK? that's ridiculous.

...I'm confused and I think you may be too. I was referring to the T-mac Magic not the current Rockets.

I commend the effort. I really am happy with the way this team responded in light of the pathetic display last night. I am still fuming over the way McGrady just quit on this team. I cant shake the feeling that the team played hard to show McGrady something.

Before the game I felt that team the was in despair and had quite possibly quit Adelman. Now I realize that the problem is not the coach.

Trade t-mac and bench Yao for the whole 4th quarter....... that should probably make us to the playoffs.

how do you try harder and yet give up 60% shooting to a team that went into OT last night on the road?

they're still not listening to adelman. you know a team's effort is there if that team plays defense. we played ZERO defense tonight.

    Huh.

Nice comeback there. I haven't heard that one, ever.

I don't hate McGrady, but there's a certain point at which a player's sheer laziness or complacency makes him a liability. Will he be a liability every game? Probably not. But, once Battier and Artest come back, we'll have enough talent to compete without the burden of guessing which McGrady will show up - the one that escorts Jamario Moon to the rim for a dunk, or the one that can at least play a decent part of the team.
Blinebury and Feigen both wrote very telling articles last night about just how much his lack of effort affects the team, and what it means to how the franchise should treat him in the future.
I'm not saying that he should NEVER play a game for the Rockets. I'm saying that if he's going to not give an effort like he did the past few games, then we're better off playing with lesser talent that at least gives a ****.

You're right about the rockets problem being beyond Tracy but if he played with a little more passion this team would have a better record.

What makes you think that this team can play at a championship level?

We fans gotta stop being delusional. Without a healthy Artest and Battier, Houston is not a contender.

Tonight we played about as well as we could and we lost to a good team.

This team has some serious issues right now and if not fixed soon, we will be the ninth seed.

Losers play this "We are only" card, winners play the "We are so far ahead they can't even smell our farts" card.
